What are you guys talking about? He's fine. He's not rotating his upper body to turn, which was the point of the previous exercise...

got it they need a more stacked position, as in put your knees and feet closer together, relax the upper body and keep it facing the fall line, pole plant ONLY with the wrists
@phil65656515 жыл бұрын
@amaskiea pole plants are still necessary, even when carving, use a double pole plant while carving and singles for bumps/ non carved turns

Not so good!

Your last ski tip on the other steeps video, was pole plant downhill, now it's out front, so which is it? These are two totally different pole plants and one causes rotation, please be consistent.

what happened to the quiet upper body that you showed in the first one... your body is following your legs and turns... looks like crap

carvings in both the hips and knees... pry shoulda mentioned that
@phil65656515 жыл бұрын
hey dipshit... this is a practice for proper form... holding the poles out in front keeps your weight on your toes and gives you a reference point to see if your body is perpendicular to the fall line... you do this exercise before you ever get to pole plants
