I grew up in the Bay directly across from Old woman Island. We sold our place in 2015. but the 47 years of memories will stay with me for the rest of my life. I remember me and a friend spent the night in the west lagoon on Old woman Island well before it had any buildings on it. I saw the whole area go from a place where everyone waved at each other in boats, slowly decay into big city values, where entitlement and self centeredness seem to dominate and be commonplace. We sold the place just at the right time, when these new type of owners starting buying property. My relatives founded Walkers Point. The Walkers, Gillans, Berry's, etc. I'm so grateful to have had this place from birth, to my 47th year. what a time it was.

Very nice place! I would have taken down a few threes for better light penetration though! Some where a bit too close to the buildings especially the boathouse backside and the Cottage. Cleaning gutters an maintaining roof is easier when not covered in pine/spruce needles and mold.

@@NomzaiMy dad grows limes in Muskoka! He’s got a tree inside that he moves out during the summer. Not sure if his orange or grapefruit trees have ever produced, though.
