My Dad worked near Innisfail in the late 40s, early 50s cutting cane. Back then Maltese migrants were told where to go to work. Dad spoke fondly of Innisfail. He slept in a tent mostly for the first 3 years he lived in Australia and worked on dam construction down south as well as cane cutting up north.

Great idea to get a drone Brad. A drone segment adds a lot of interest to a video blog. The video quality is superb for a relatively cheap machine and the steady footage very pleasant to watch. You are mastering the controller very well. Cheers Gordon.

Yes they are a lot of fun. I love all my DJI drones, I have a Mini 4 pro, an Avata 2 and a Neo, so I don't really get sick, or rather board with them 🚁💯👍

Sadly this antenna died around 12months ago. Not the best to leave outside. No rust in box near loop. Power light comes on where usb plugs in. Light on box near loop doesn't come on

Visited Innisfail 2002, was backpacking from Scotland. Stayed at the pub across from the Mcdonalds on the highway. Loved the place. stayed around 6 weeks. They had a round pool table in the RSL when I went...good memories !!
