This was a very special, tranquil place. My family and I visited many times in the 1980s and 1990s. I spent hours reading Meditation and Manifestation Books on the part of the grounds that had a Summer House that I believed Ancient Kings visited and sat beside the pond they had bathed in. Words cannot describe the feelings I felt there. The sea life was unbelievable also, including many very old Turtles. I was blessed having these wonderful vacations.🙏🙏🌠⭐️

GDP 99% correlated with greenhouse gases pollution. Materials 100% correlated. The task ahead for civil engineering is to break that linkage. Current greenhouse gases pollution is 51 billion tons annually. Surely asce of all organizations recognizes the cascading damages to infrastructure here and globally. Current greenhouse levels retain the heat energy equivalent of detonating 7 Hiroshima type nukes every second for over 30 years. We must have innovation and research and development funding if there's any hope of addressing the exponentially growing catastrophes. Visit reinsurance industry websites and discover that much of the damage of climate is not insured or often is uninsurable.

…and so it goes on and on and on ……all over the world….managers thinking that they know best and not listening to the hands on people…..giving in to political agendas licking backsides rather than getting a backbone and speaking the truth. And why does it happen? Because people who have a backbone rarely get promoted. Its the yes men and yes women that get promoted….😢

It is hard for me to believe all the knowledge that NASA has, that they would approve this launch. It only tells me that is was all political. The people that approved this launch, has to live with the fact, that they have murdered all the Astronauts, that were killed in this bad decision. Even after knowing the consequences of their decision.

It was courageous that he spoke up I just wish the astronauts were asked or told of that it might of made a difference to know yes risks are always a problem but letting them decide should have been the answer.

Invest in manufacturing distilation system on family scale using sun heat , distillation by heating element , or ultraviolet light , or gas power boiler , or advance MRI isolation and separation aee some most useful and profitable but healthy fir public that recover cost of government investment and effort is better because large collective city size is extremely dangerous of terrorists and threat of major plagues is scary

It is starting to seem to me that civil engineering is just a fancy title for someone who comes up with solutions to solve a problem. Now tell me who figures out how to build the the solution.

Summary: Sustainability Benefits: A Profit Producer Advantages that businesses can gain by focusing on sustainability The benefits include the growth of revenue, saving of money, increase of value to shareholders, more innovation from employees, and minimization of risks! It’s an advantage - not a sacrifice with the potential of a 51% - 81% profit. Business leaders must change their mindsets! Being more responsible socially and environmentally is good for business. It is an engine for growth. FIVE STAGE SUSTAINABILITY JOURNEY Stage 1: Non-compliance with the operating jurisdiction, regulations etc. Stage 2: Compliance! Keep their notes clean. No jail. Don’t get fined etc., Most are here. Stage 3: Beyond compliance! Capture the low-hanging fruit! Saving energy on water, electricity, waste, materials etc. They go further to redesigning their processes working with their suppliers. Stage 4: Integrating ideals into the strategies driving the growth of the company. And start getting the rewards Stage 5: Driven by the purpose of the company to be a responsible firm that provides benefits to the society, the environment and bottom-line. Motivations for stage 4 and 5 are different quite. But what they do is the same. Today, most organisations are at 3 or 3+

If high-speed rail is a "waste of money", this is an absolute money pit in the making! Why does an Omaha suburb in Iowa need six lanes in each direction? If you look at satellite maps, traffic volumes are so light that two lanes in each direction would be plenty, let alone three. Instead, Iowa wastes your taxpayer dollars on useless job projects, but will complain the second anyone dare extend Amtrak service to Iowa City.

The launch was scrubbed numerous times prior to that day, numerous. I am curious as to whether there was any conversation during THOSE scrubs, about temperature.
