Thank you! I checked for play on my engine as you showed, and there was a lot 😅 maybe that explains the fishtailing when I’m idling along

That can't be good for anything that would eat. I wouldn't use it
@PA9670424 күн бұрын
I used to do it the old way where you have to bleed it one by one. I like how you connected both valves and let the air bubbles run back up to the steering. Way more fluid in the lines this way and way more cleaner.

Simple.. however I am confused at why your motor turned while you were bleeding. If your valves are open at the motor then there would be no pressure to move the cylinders.
@JustinFraleyJustCatchFishАй бұрын
You don’t open it ip all the way. When you start to loosen the seal I only make 1/6 turns until it is open enough so air can escape but not enough so fluid can escape.

That wouldnt stay on a hook for a millisecond. If you make a dough bait, wrap the doughball in reynolds wrap and boil in water for fifteen minutes.

Just did my leaky seals and after turning left and right for an hour there’s still air in the system. Do you have anything else I should look for?
@JustinFraleyJustCatchFish2 ай бұрын
If you open up the system too much it can still draw in air. You could reclose the system and start the process again but slowly open the system and stop when you notice the housing is open.

@JustinFraleyJustCatchFish3 ай бұрын
I don’t see why not. You risk maybe losing a tool and it will be hard to check from the rear. But if you completed it right the steering should tighten up and you should notice the difference

Let the nay sayers biotch. It works! BETTER than the 7.99 a tiny gar for crappie nibbles!!!!! Does NOT fall apart the second it touches the water. Make your bait size, let them sit out for a little bit but WATCH them they dry out fast. You can use a litle drop of contact solution if it dries out. Coat the tacky balls in corn starch or powdered sugar to keep from sticking in the jar. But you know what REALLY works? Bluegill slime coat!!!! Rub your bait all over the slime coat of a caught and stressed out little blue gill. and WATCH how fast everything in the lake wants to eat whatever is coated in that slime. Which is fear and a stress reaction. That smells like DINNER to ANY fish! Your welcome!

I know I'm late in the game but i have read through all the comments and attempted this with an expectation of failing (based on previous comments) but I was SUCCESSFUL (so far)! The bait did set up and floats good! I still have to do a field test on fish but i wanted to share what i used and slight deviations 1. Elmers glue(Glue-All Extra strong formula, small 4 oz bottle 2. Equate Shaving Foam (regular red bottle not the gel) 3. Equate Multi-Purpose Solution (green bottle "for soft contact lenses) 4. Great Value Baking Soda ( if you read this step in the video it says "Baking Power" which can be confused with Baking "Powder" which is different then Baking Soda like i used) 5. Glitter 6. Garlic powder I used the full bottle of the glue and the amount of shaving cream was a little more than 1/3 cup simply from the peaks cuz i didn't scrape off excess. As far as the contact solution, i only used 2 ozs (not 2.5 ozs) measured using a shot glass. Like i mentioned earlier baking SODA was used NOT BAKING POWDER. After working it to the solid state, it finishes almost like an easy to tear rubber structure. When i put it in the water, it briefly sunk upon entry into the water but SPRUNG to the top floating right after! I'm going to play more around with the recipe to see what i can or can't get away with like product brands/types, quantities and of course scents and effectiveness. I hope this helps out others! When dealing with "chemistry" there could be a single ingredient present in one brand but not in another that could ultimately affect the final product outcome/composition/texture. Thanks for sharing!
