Thank you for sharing insightful information in a still controversial topic. Experienced professionals showing deep commitment as well as the realities of the world we live on which still makes ESG a difficult subject to master for many of us. Clear and detailed information to the audience allowing us to grasp its the benefits. Overcoming the real hurdle, cognitive dissonance, will be the major challenge!

A lot of interesting questions & even more enlightening answers! Working in the ESG field seems very challenging and as someone embracing it , a lot still needs to be done from information, clarification to implementation to both shareholders and stakeholders despite major advancements in the economy. You need real conviction and not just go with the flow. From words to deeds...an adventure ahead!

The only climate plan we require is to embrace the free market and fossil fuels. Both generate economic growth and wealth. This created the modern world. It's the modern world that keeps us safe. Inexpensive reliable energy and the modern world mitigate and neutralize any threats facing humanity, including threats from warming. We need more fossil fuels not less.

Canada's single biggest emitter of CO2 is Justin Trudeau followed by the rest of his entourage of hypocrites.

It's costly and not beneficial to reduce to net zero (That's not my opinion, That's the countries that support the Paris climate accord) and then these countries will pull out. I wish for a carbon neutral/net zero future but it's not going to happen.

of course not, london can't reduce to net zero

So positive to hear that London could meet the mayor's targets! A zero-carbon city requires the whole city to work together with renewable energy, do you think they can do this by 2050? Seen as London is so diverse? #livetree #fairweb #sustainable #zerocarbon

The work Stockholm has done should be advertised and replicated! The delivery and waste collection in one is such a simple but smart method to reduce the amount of transport in and out of the city. Do you think it would be easy for other communities and cities to follow suit? #livetree #fairweb #cleanair

When it comes to sustainability, renewable energy gets most of the media coverage. But, there are lots of other things that are equality important to achieve sustainability, such as, building energy efficiency, retrofitting old buildings, urban planning to create, more walkable and bikeable cities, quality and reliable public transportation, to name few.
@Earth0983 жыл бұрын
You should have mentioned something about Stockholm's metro, which is the main mode of public transportation in the city.

I see a ooce luch wilderness area, laid bare,a desolate wasteland. All in the name of increased corporate profits. Inneficient unreliable wind and solar bringing our economy to a halt. All the while China keeps burning fossil fuel and building coal plants at record pace.
