…it also runs off the 5v rail if you solder a Eurorack power cable to the usb port :) Also, it even fits inside a Eurorack case with a little bit of modding :)) micromonsta 2 is such an amazing addition to a modular system…

I've been meaning to ask you about the eurorack mod. I sorta like how it just floats around whatever other gear is on the table, but it definitely pulls enough weight to deserve a space in the rack!

Whoa, this song is phenomenal! A warm sunny day in a coastal city, keeps me moving. So do you prefer sequencing on the KSP or ST? Seems like ST has more than enough tracks to let you keep it all in one box?

Thanks!! ❤️ The ST definitely has plenty. The KSP is great for getting ideas drawn up, but sometimes the extra step of recording the midi back into ST midi tracks is just... Not worth the trouble for a jam 😁

Nice work, dude. I'm debating getting another elektron box to go with the syntakt but cannot decide between octatrack or digitone keys.. 🤔 I love the work flow on the syntakt

Thanks! That's a tough choice. Octatrack can be like a rubix cube at first. But it has so much flexibility and power once you grok it's internals. If you don't have a sample based machine then maybe the octatrack, since it can also work really well as a performance mixer with tons of FX. You could always get a digitakt, my all around favorite piece of gear!

@@parristaylor yes it's so hard not to want them all lol. I like the live perfoamce aspect. Thinking of also getting a midi controller like faderfox mx12... ALL SO MUCH MONEY! 😂but yea id love a digitakt... If it had a crossfader maybe I would then again other devices have crossfaders...

What!? 🤣🤣 what a great use of morphagene! are the breaks pitched waaay down? i think i can hear glimpses of the Amen break in there :) Lovely distortion too

Thanks! I think I try to return the break to approx "green" as the starting point of the hand modulation. But most of the scratching has the pitch way down in the weeds, like 1 or 2 o'clock on VariSpeed. The clock into Play keeps it on the grid, otherwise it'd be a hopeless mess
