Great video. I own a construction company and have decided to educate myself better in accounting. Question: is it better to allocate Sales Commission to COGS or SG& A, or does it really matter. To me, it is more of a COGS expense. Please advise and thank you for sharing your expertise.

I think the 3.1% debit side on the WACC calculation is labeled incorrectly on the slide. Should be Debit Side = 3.1%, Correct?

I searched for “different types of company profit” because I wanted to better understand gross profit vs net profit vs…. In under 2 minutes you got yourself a sub. I hope the rest of your videos are this ‘to the point’ I would not be surprised if I do patreon or something if I find 10 videos this good. Now I’m going to find out you only have 5 videos an 2 are delisted. 🤣😹🙀

Use need to use the CAPM formula, just search a stocks beta, and for risk free rate its usually US treasury bonds yeild, which currently is about 4%, and expected return of market is usually around 8% so plug the numbers in the formula and google the beta of a stock. Hope you understand

Overall great video! There are some things that need to be corrected: 1. Bottleneck is NOT the same as THE Constraint. The Constraint IS the limiting factor of a company, you can even choose what it is strategically. 2. Throughput Profit doesn't exist. Only a company has Profits. A product contributes with Throughput Margin and is additive. 3. Direct Cost is not a concept in Throughput Accounting. The term is Totally Variable Cost (what varies with sales) and does not consider Direct Labor. Direct Labor is part of Operating Expenses and is recognised the month is incurred. Included in Truly Variable Cost Raw and Packaging Materials, Sales Comission, Outside Services, Freights.

I think the definitions you use could use some refinement. A bottleneck is any point in the process that has less capacity than the demand placed on it. Whereas the bottleneck with the least capacity in the system is the CONSTRAINT of the system. For example, if market demand was more than 100 beers per month, then even the mixing step would be considered a bottleneck, but the fermenting step would remain the constraint.

Are there contexts in which an NPV analysis might be misleading? Particularly in situations where there’s uncertainty and the decision you make regarding the investment is irreversible? Btw love the videos and I think we went to college together.
