Great tips! I store mine in milk crates and have a separate one for holidays and animals, one for just patriotic and hearts, one for geometric, and one for feathers. These categories are from what my customers look for most, so I try to make it very easy for them to pick a design. ❤

Thank you so much for this video it was very helpful. I am new at longarm quilting and have recently found Urban Elementz website. Why are some of the designs only offered in a digital format and not in self print or paper option? Lynn (Wisconsin)

Hello Lynn! We are happy to hear you enjoyed this video. If a design is only available in the digital format it is because the path is not direct and would be difficult to follow. Please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] if you have any questions or concerns! We are always happy to help.

I have a pq1500 brother on my queen frame. When I did this, my quilt space was 6”. If I subtract 6” using this method, I have no quilting space.😢 Please advise what size of panto I would need for my brother pq1500 on a 8ft frame. I will mostly be loading horizontal and making lap quilts around 54 x 74.
@urbanelementzdesigns
@urbanelementzdesigns 2 ай бұрын
The 6" roll up space is to accommodate a large king type quilt. If you are doing smaller quilts loaded horizontally, you would need less roll up space. We would recommend deducting 2.5" - 3" inches for roll up space. We would recommend rolling up a quilt to see how much room it takes. Here are some links to some free designs in the petite size to see if these will be compatible with your set up: www.urbanelementz.com/crocus-free.html www.urbanelementz.com/top-knot-free.html www.urbanelementz.com/funky-feathers-petite-free.html www.urbanelementz.com/flower-power-free.html

This is the first time I've seen your videos and the first time I have ever responded to a video and trust me I've watched alot of them. I had to tell you, that I love your straight forward, no nonsense approach. I thoroughly enjoyed the informative video and bless your heart, I appreciate your sacrifice for comfort to make the video its best in regards to sound. I kept thinking, this poor guy needs air conditioning and here you have it . I did not think you were grumpy and I certainly do not think you're selfish after all, you took the time and suffered the heat to make this video for us. BTW, I just started quilting because I had so much fabric from sewing over the years that I wanted to use up my scraps so I'm learning to quilt on my practice quilts that I made from scraps. Never spent a dime on fabric. I'll be watching your videos going forward and will subscribe...another thing I've never done is subscribe to videos. Thank you

The miracle chalk looks great. I see that it goes away with heat, much like the Frixion pen does. But the Frixion pen can leave a white mark on the fabric even after ironed off (sometimes it comes back in the cold, sometimes just after ironing). Does the miracle chalk also have this issue?

Thank you for your comment! We have not had any issue with the Miracle Chalk reappearing after it is ironed away.

With the double row panto on a Cutie frame, is there much of an advantage? I have to rehoop horizontally and vertically anyway.
@urbanelementzdesigns
@urbanelementzdesigns 4 ай бұрын
There may not be a benefit when you have limited space but if the design is small and nested, then you may be able to fit 2 rows.

Can these be stitched down if I want to or is adhesive too hard to stitch through?

They can be stitched down, but it is not necessary. To avoid gumming of the needle, make sure the Steam-A-Seam 2 has fully fused.

You are greatly appreciated for your honesty! I find it totally mesmerizing watching you moving that quilt from one end to the other…I’ve really had no desire to try quilting on my machine but this has given me thought that I may like to try ! I always thought quilting was done by hand (because that’s the way I saw grandma and great granny do it)…I’ve done it by hand… then when substituting at grade school for many years, I met a teacher, now a good friend, that did long arm quilting and I started letting her do the quilting!!! I quickly learned to save a lot of time! I’m still learning new things by watching you! (72 years young😂)))) I’ve never use d any precuts… had no idea what the terminology was that I was hearing! Wishing you many blessings 🙏🏼!!!
