Crispity from Greyscale Fonts? You should be able to fairly easily, and you can find tutorials easily enough to fully learn how to do it. For V2, and I recommend doing it for V3 as well, depending on the version you got, after *removing the battery* (this is important to avoid corrupting the SD card), make a backup copy of the SD card on your PC using the included SD card reader that came with your saber. Then copy the folder for Crispity and add it to the SD card, making sure to change the folder name to the next consecutive number (ie there were 35 fonts before adding it, so you rename “Crispity” to “36”). The font won’t work otherwise. If you have a V3 saber, you are free to eject the SD card here and insert it back into your saber, followed by the battery. *Do not reinsert the battery until the SD card is placed back into the core- again to avoid corruption* For V2 sabers, you need to do an additional step: adding an entry for the font into the configuration file. Go into the “set” folder and find a file named “config new” (iirc. There’s both “config” and a different one along the lines of “config new”. You want that latter file.) Open that file using a text editor like Notepad and add a new line for Crispity following the pattern of the previous fonts: Color-36: (saber style, hum style, ignition timing, extinguish timing) R,G,B (Again, iirc. It’s been a minute since I’ve updated the config file on my V2, so I don’t remember the code exactly). Save your changes, eject the SD card, and follow the same steps as V3 to reinsert it. You should have your new font added.

This would’ve been closer to the V2, if not V1, when it was recorded, since I don’t think the Xeno V3 core was out quite yet, but the hilt should be exactly the same. The only difference is newer software and Bluetooth/app compatibility on the V3. V2 still requires a computer to adjust any configuration settings.

While they are resilient and can take a beating, I’d advise pulling your punches so to speak to prevent damage to the blade. Again, they’re durable, but can be a costly replacement if you’re not careful.

The hilt’s maybe 2-3 pounds? The blade is fairly light, maybe another pound tops. Total weight I’d say is 3-5 pounds if I had to guesstimate.

I know I’m late to the party, but I’m hoping this will be helpful for others down the line who have the same question (until they release V4 and invalidate my comment that is). Both their Xenopixel V2 and V3 cores- the electronics inside the hilts- should have tip drag. You just point the saber down, hold the button, and hit the tip on the ground to activate it.
