Those who knew java either have moved to Kotlin or are about to, probably one of the most fun languages to write with imo with how condensed it can be :D

C and C++ are not the same. Even Structs are different. C has pointers C++ has reference types. They are not the same at all. C++ is not C with classes. As an embedded dev it pains me when people make this confusion. They are nothing alike.

I tend to disagree with Java being outdated or something like this. Java is paramount for a lot of IT infrastructures especially when it comes to back-end. It is not my cup of tea but we have to respect Java for being simple and getting shit done.
