Put Donkey Kong Country Returns in my 3DS yesterday and played thru the day. .. Highly enjoyable. Might play on WII Today. Good game

Not for $60. This game isn't worth $60. I still have my DKCR on my Nintendo Wii and it looks and plays great! A $30 price tag would have been better. All remastered games on PlayStation are only $20 but Nintendo is charging $60. Im definitely not paying $60 all over again. I remember when Nintendo GameCube, Wii and Wii U games all dropped to $20 but once the switch came out all their games are still $60. Nintendo switch 2 is about to be released and Zelda breath of the wild has been out for 8 years now and it's still $60. That's ridiculous. Great video though 🎮🎮

Can you use the directional pad to move Donkey Kong especially since it's a 2-D platformer or does the game only allow the use of the analog stick when moving Donkey Kong? I know in Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze it gives both control options for moving Donkey Kong. Hopefully i can find this out before it's release date.

If you're talking about the first game, then yeah. But as for the second game, I can't get into. The story choices Neil Druckmann made I just don't agree with. He markets the game where Joel's in the trailer than he is in the entire game and killing him off like that indiscriminately, it left a bad taste in my mouth.

I was hoping to find something to quench my thirst after gow and gow ragnarok, I mean the Norse mythology looks like it’s awesome in these series but the gameplay seems idk good but not bad. Any suggestions on games my friends??

This game was extremely silly looking but I love it. 4 and 5 were really fun, if not a little messy. The world and art in 4 are great, especially those sky boxes. It's clear they were trying to push the graphics and gameplay up to 11 and absolutely maximize the Xbox 360's hardware. They did an excellent job and I still come back to play it every so often.

i just find it hard because the controls feel wonky

Feels like someone's first project and they never even looked at the first one. Before buying this (even on the cheap) look at someone's walkthrough for 5 mins....that is what the rest of the game is like. Nothing inspiring, no lineage beyond "we blocked this world, go do 10 quests in the ones open and we'll unfreeze the next one"; considering there are so many lego games - pass on this one. It would have made a decent add-on but its differently not a sequel.

Love the game but am bothered with it being a point-and-click.

Since this reboot the game strayed more and more from what it was. TR is now a COD style shooter. I buy them but i dont like them. The excessive collection of items is all off putting. I dont bother with it. The puzzle are mind numbing boring and far too easy. The Tomb Of Qualopec, stage 3 in the original TR on the PS1, took me quite a while to figure out. Puzzles like this they dont make any more. Now you get painted white lines to show you there is a jump.
