Hello, I just watched your Iceland video and I have some questions. How many days were you in Iceland? If you don’t mind me asking, do you happen to have a breakdown of about how much was the trip aside from flight?(Accommodation, car rental, food (eating out and grocery shopping), and anything else that would be beneficial) Also, do you happen to have the names of each of your accommodations? My husband and I are looking to go in the summer and doing as much research as possible and trying to figure out what type of itinerary to do for 5 days. Thanks!

We stayed approximately 8 days. Here was the itinerary we created on Wanderlog (the best travel planning app by far!): wanderlog.com/view/fuqbmlrfho/trip-to-iceland/shared. As you can tell from the video we did not follow it to the T. We budgeted approximately $2k per person including flight, and stuck to the budget pretty well. I would definitely do southern Iceland, and decide what places you want to hike the most! It's a lot to squeeze into 5 days so prioritize what you guys want to see.

@@perla_milan oh wow, that’s pretty impressive for 8 days and only spending $4k in total for everything! My goal was $3,500 In total for 5 days, so this gives me more hope! And the fact that we could possibly add days! Now looking at your itinerary, did you stay at some accommodations multiple days? Just so I have an idea. Thank you!

The only time we stayed more than 1 night was Reykjavík (when we fly in and fly out in case of delays - which we had!). Everything else was just 1 night as we headed East to Hofn. I would definitely have at least have 2 nights In Reykjavík when you fly in, then just 1 night per location as you drive across the country. Once you get more remote there were not lots of AirBnBs, we did “guest houses” that were essentially like dorm-style accommodations (shared bathroom, shared kitchen, etc). Not the fanciest thing but helped keep costs down and we were really only there to sleep.

Starbucks is THE worst coffee ever.. if you add in caramel or hazelnut, etc etc syrup it may be drinakble.. but at that point - Ask yourself, do you actually like coffee?! **Italians weeping* Beyond North America, Starbucks is a 'minor chain'.. do you wonder why??
