I have a 2013 g37x. So can I just buy rwd control arms and then buy the little seat. Is that really the only difference? Because the rwd control arms are much cheaper, and they have more manufacturers to choose from than ones that are awd 🤔

You may be on to some , I wouldn’t know 100% but ik that the wheels bearings are interchangeable, so maybe control arms are Interchangeable

Did you have any sluggish acceleration issues? I think my fuel pump went out yesterday but was having super sluggish acceleration then my gas pedal stopped doing anything. Now wont start, will crank.

I’m having sort of the same problem here. Sluggish acceleration, usually have to press it from the top of the pedal to get to go somewhat, When the tank is less than half full it risks itself shutting off. However I’m also getting a p0430 code which is a bad cat code. But I’m hoping this is just a leak, and not a full cat replacement. Or it may also have to do with the fuel pump since it is running pretty lean. I have a 2013 g37x and I’m getting 21 mpg with city driving, but the car feels really sluggish and hard power steering as well

@@Gm29_mtz Yeah, pretty sure it’s fuel pump as well. Sigh this is a $400+oem part or 300 from a quality aftermarket. Fuel pump shuts off once it’s is dry, and not submerged in gas anymore hence the stalling at half a tank, once that is fixed I hope that p430 goes away.

the bolt that holds the arm to the knuckle was a tiny bit loose on our '12. Pretty sure the lower ball joint is what is giving the wheel play and clunk over bumps however.

@@Gm29_mtz yes, after the car is warmed up, and then you shut it off and restart it a half an hour later I’ll hear a knocking sound on the passenger side. It has something to do with the system when I pop the hood and go to the purge solenoid and squeeze the hose between the solenoid and the intake the pulsating stops.

I did remember from my experience, it seemed to gain power back after replacing the leaking hose I had , also I’m not sure if the Z comes with a fuel pressure regulator but Ik z1 motor sports has aftermarket for the Z , and the long crank could be the starter im not sure tbh

Crankshaft sensor causes a long crank and eventually stalling at low speeds or going in reverse! Just happened to me replaced it all good. @@ethanstone5978

Are you talking about the two connections that go into the fuse holder I installed in the video? The brown goes to the starter and the other goes to the alternator

Try replacing your transmission mount. Had the same issue and so far doesn't make that cluncking noise and drives way better. I went with z1motorsports transmission mount.

@@MeHIcO96 I have an Awd , the transmission mount is different with Awd and rwd, I’ve replaced mine and you are right it makes a difference in vibration and noise , but my problem is gonna be both front CV axles , the AWD has problems with the front CV axles failing

just save ur money and a buy a roll of carbon fiber vinyl. these cheap vinyl kits are cooked 99% of the time before they even arrive, and fitment is dookie. 🤞
