Interesting! I have kept all the medical records of each animal for 45-years. Every time we lose a friend we put "RIP" on their folder and file it in a special storage container just for these records. Some day a school like Cornell will put these records in a computer -- and discover treatments and cures. Life long records sometimes birth to death. Back in the 90's we started a kidney dialysis program at UC Davis. First in the world. It is in many countries now. And it changed human medicine world wide too. Your idea is a compelling one!

Our FIV cats mostly live a full life. We always knew ther was a third retrovirus. Not FIP and not FeLV. Then decades later Neils Pederson at UC Davis isolated it and he told me they found it in frozen cat blood 30-years old. Just as we suspected. He is the one who also invented the new FIP treatment.
