For jobs like this do you charge hourly rates time and material or give quoted prices? If so how do you figure out cost.
@Dozerguy7118 күн бұрын
I figure it either way . Some like quoted prices others like hourly rates. I estimate how long it would take and how much materials would be needed

Ok I just subscribed, I too have a ol link-Belt 2800 I’m guessing AorB modal , I don’t know where to look for the serial model number tag,,, anyway can you tell the place with a phone number parts place you use for your link-Belt, ,,, I need a secondary hydraulic canister filter that goes in my hydraulic fluid tank, thanks BigAl California ,,,,I’m having problems finding one 12 inches tall 7 inches wide or across, and the pressure relief valve gos on top it is not part of the filter .
@Dozerguy713 ай бұрын
Hi big Al thanks for subscribing. I did have a linkbelt 2800 quantum I believe it was a 97 model. There should be a serial number inside the cab on your right side sitting in the seat I believe it starts with an E . If it’s missing there there’s another serial number stamped in the frame I think it is between the two main lift cylinders . Linkbelt also makes these for Case equipment I think it’s the same size as a 9030 Case . The filters may be available at Napa but the pressure valve would most likely have to come from either case or linkbelt. I’m in Georgia the linkbelt dealer here is heavy machines

You can get a camera mount with suction cups for inside the cab. The ones I've seen have three suction cups, so they don't vibrate off while operating the machine. It just depends on what camera brand you are using.

Do Not EVER walk or stand between those machines with an inexperienced operator at the controls.
