I think you love the maple syrup mysteries!

Every time my labradoodle, Archie hears you, he jumps on the couch and wants to watch with me. He never does this. I watched.....yep. watched another several book tubers, came back to this video...yes! Archie just has to watch and listen. Ranger doesn't feel the need to watch or listen, he is still sleeping. I like all of the paranormal choices. I dont read regular cozies, except for the Janet Evanovich, Stephanie Plum series. I laugh so much. I dont know if they are technically cozies, but its usually as close as I get. Thank you, Lynn and Archie in Phoenix 🌵

So many good books thus month. I'm excited for the new Tonya Knappes book. I've read almost 24 books in her criminal and campers series this year. Nightmare in Halloween Hollow love this series. Tonya also has a series called holiday junction that celebrates all holidays even minor ones. It's good.

Cat in the stacks series is my absolute favorite cozy mystery series. It's what introduced me to the genre and I keep going back and re-listening to the books. That's how much I just can't get enough of them. And I actually started the series with the fourth book. I have not yet read murder past due but I should be starting it pretty soon, once I finish up with another book in that series. I ordered MPD in paperback, which is how I want to read it. I'm so excited to hear that it is a Autumn themed book because it's the perfect time for me to start reading that book. 😁🍂

I don't think I've read any of the series you've mentioned in this video! Need to up my game. Well, no, I started the Cheese Shop mysteries but I soft-DNFed because I was distracted by another (not-so-cozy) series I was very obsessed with at the time. I need to give it another try! I've heard the Meg Langslow series is really funny, so I may be starting that series and maybe Jaine Austen next year. I also didn't know about the Catherine Bruns series, and maple syrup is my weakness! I'll have to start that too. And wow, Alphabet Soup mysteries? You had me at "soup."

I agree with loving the Cheese Shop Mysteries by Korina Moss. I just finished the first book, Cheddar Off Dead and it was 5 stars! Too bad my library only has this one. I’ll have to try to acquire the rest of the series. Thanks for all the new suggestions.

In October, I'm most looking forward to A Merry Little Murder Plot, Boulevard of Broken Creams, Fondue or Die, In the Blink of a Pie, and Sleep in Heavenly Pizza. 4 come out on the 22nd so I'm not sure I will get all of them read this month. I love the Maple Syrup mystery series and recommend it. I gave books1&2 5 stars.

I will have to rewatch this one (as always LOL) for some new discoveries. But, my top 3 for October are Fondue or Die, Sleep in Heavenly Pizza and A Southern Quilting Cozy Christmas by Elizabeth Craig (I absolutely love this series and highly recommend that you start it - it does need to be read in order as there is a fair amount of character development. Yes, that's a Corgi on the cover and there is also a very large (can't remember the breed) dog, Boris who misbehaves a little but is still lovely

Hi Amy. Great vlog. I actually liked the movie version for Girl on the Train better. I felt it was better with movement if that makes sense , but I did read the book first. Awww, Nickel made an appearance! I ended up reading 5 books for this readathon, and I plan to post my FIRST EVER reading vlog in the next week or so. It took most of the month for me to read my 5 books (my first roll was to determine how many books I'd read). I enjoyed every book I read, which makes it a success in my opinion! My next reading vlog is NOT going to include 5 books, and is going to be themed around books with haunted houses! A mix of cozy mysteries and horror (I think I have 4 books picked but can only think of 3 off the top of my head this morning).

Thanks for the vlog! I loved the music you had in the montages. Very scooby like. I loved the readathon and hope it happens again. I'm finishing up a book for a Shaggy prompt. I ended up rolling Fred twice, Shaggy twice and Velma once. Scooby Doo and the Reluctant Werewolf is one of my favorites!

I really love the prompts for the Scooby Doo readathon but rolling a dice would have driven me crazy especially if I got the same number multiple times. Mimi Lee sounds interesting. I need to try it at some point. You read so many books that I really enjoyed too - Peking Duck and Cover, A Cup of Flour, A Pinch of Death, and Bait and Witch. I'm glad you enjoyed a lot of the books you read for this readathon!
