Hi i know this video is while ago , but in case you see this, i wondered if you prefer the brushes or sponge blending tools? I just got my first distress inks!!! And i already have brushes the exact same as yours. ... do i need the round sponge pads as well? Thanks so much!!

Pretty! If you want a light wash of color, Karen Valentine has a video she uses small very dense stencil brushes. I got them in from Amazon today and I scribbled the gelato down on the palette you have, scrubbed it into the brush, and scrubbed it into the paper in circular motions as she does in the video and I love the light application.

If you did the edge close to the end of the page, left side with a paintbrush with very little water it would take care of what you don’t like?

Do you think I can use the regular oval shaped makeup brushes? The look exactly the same

Some of my stickles is too watery even after shaking well , anyone know whats the reason?

The "Ranger" brand of Stickles is much cheaper on their own website....rangerink.com. Cheaper certainly than Amazon; not sure about Michael's. FYI. :)

Would a brush not work better then the spatula ?

Excellent video! Distress inks are so great for soft blended backgrounds. Safer and cleaner to use than soft pastels, and no need for fixative either.
