I have not traveled southbound on the golden gate since they went cashless about a decade ago. They were still using the yellow plastic cones to divide traffic. Pro tip: go clockwise around the bay via the Richland Bay bridge and avoid all tolls. I have not paid a single toll since the golden gate went cashless.

they used to run 6 cars frequently on the OC its probably cause of ridership or something but am not certain about it

@@brysonmedlock8212 Yes that’s correct. At certain times of the day they’ll run a 4-5 car set in the middle of rush hour and the 3car set is at the beginning/mid of the rush traffic. The 6-car set seems to be always at the end of the rush hour and also within weekends.

@@LCPotato actually no it is not, the reason why the sets are shorter is because of the metrolink bombardier cab car overhauls, as they pull a certain amount of cars out as one by one gets overhauled, which is a very slow and labor intensive process
