Well.... It's actually Malays. Malays culture is Malaysian culture. Not only that, but Banjars, Dayaknese, and the other 27 ethnic group in Malaysia is also the part of Malaysian culture. But i don't understand why they claimed culture from ethnic that didn't originated from Malaysia, like Molucca, Javanese, etc, as their own.

Batik is from Java. It's not about culture again, it's about tribe's culture. Malaysia tribe and Indonesia tribes are different. Basically they are trying to claim someone else tribe's culture.
@orangezt75Ай бұрын
Batik originally not from Indonesia but claimed by them. Batik existed more than a thousand years in China, " batik was practised as early as the Sui Dynasty (AD 581-618). Silk batiks in the form of screens have also been discovered in Nara, Japan ascribed to the Nara period (AD 710-794). "Ref: Batik guild Uk. The Indonesia always adamant with something petty, I don't see Chinese and Japanese ever claimed that Batik was theirs. Not known to many Indonesians, Kelantan was Kalanthana, second centre for Majapahit empire, of course people at those times shared mostly the same food, garments, cultures etc.
@TruePeaceSeekerАй бұрын
What a massive cope, the name "batik" may come from China. But the actual batik being referred to is different. The Indonesian batik is exactly the precise and exact same style of batik that Malaysian desperately wants to claim due to their lack of heritage or having their heritage actively cancelled due to radical beliefs. I have never seen a country so confused with their identity.
@orangezt75Ай бұрын
@@TruePeaceSeeker Most Indonesians don't have a clue about their own land. There was no Indonesia before, the proto-Malay not proto-Indo migrated out from Africa and landed into Malay Peninsular first and their descendent migrated into Malay Archipelagos and created Indonesian race. Stop claiming Batik is an Indonesian invention, it very obvious and petty. We have lots of people here who are Javanese, Bugis, Minang etc, at least these people united as Malay and the land named Malaysia. Even Bahasa Indonesia is actually a Malay language, you want us to say that Indonesians have no language?
@bangpalin865329 күн бұрын
@@orangezt75 It's just a Scientific name. If you want to call all of us Malays, just because it's called "Proto-Malay", Then i can call you as a Sundanese, because your homeland is the part of "Sundaland"
@bangpalin865329 күн бұрын
@@orangezt75 Bahasa Indonesia is adapted from Malay language because it's simple and has no hierarchy of vocabularies. Unlike the other ethnic language, that even for "eat", they have a lot of vocabularies depending on who you are talking with. And also, it has been used by Kingdoms and Merchants to unite (in communication) every people in Nusantara Archipelago. Then, Malays is also the one of natives in Indonesia(especially in Sumatera and Kalimantan). So what's the problem with adapted a language from our native ethnic to be the National Language? Last but not least, it's also to prove that even if Javanese is the majority ethnic, it doesn't mean it always being the dominant one. All ethnic group should equal. Maybe you asking why it's called Bahasa Indonesia, not Bahasa Melayu. Because, we have more that thousands ethnic group. If we call it "Bahasa Melayu", then the Malays would feeling glad, but the other ethnic would feel offended. Then we call it "Bahasa Indonesia", because there is no ethnic called "Indonesia"

The fact that the man only said “ traditional malaysian shirt” doesn’t mean it originated from malaysia, traditional is like a cultural identity, but split into several ethnicities, so doesn’t mean that traditional is originated from the country itself. Damn the indonesians really wants the attention
