Let's call it, "Professional stupidity"! 😯😂 . Indeed the reason I was "flying" here was because I had a mission objective to launch my car a certain distance in the air... So the jump itself was planned, but I didn't expect to go QUITE so high up, which we'll exceeded the distance needed... I had gotten launched a few times on that bank, but it really took off this time! 😯😂😀🤘 .

This just happened to be cause his wife called me so I called him ti see if there was any dialogue and I was stuck otp w hik for like 30 mins just doing ncpd scanner missions😭

It's Gran Turismo 7, which is playable on PS4 and PS5 (this is from the PS4 version), but whatever Playstation console you may have, I highly recommend playing this or any other GT game! 😀🤘 .

I can indeed wipe out most pirates in a few seconds, even flying in my mining build, which I was here, but I'd rather not have to deal with them at all, particularly when I was just about to drop into my intended RES site... And I'll gladly kill 100 pirates at a time, but one thing I hate that is very hard to counter and prevent is when half of them launch bloody hatchbreaker limpets when you have more than a piece of chewing gum in your hold! I wouldn't even mind hatchbreakers THAT much IF they couldn't pass straight through your shields, IF pirates could only use them after taking down your shields, so they were "rewarded" for doing so and you only got hit with them if you carried on fighting past the point of logic! As it is, I was returning to the RES with a mostly empty cargo hold, but I still had about 10 units of painite, that the local stations were paying poorly for, which I was planning to sell in another system when I leave this one (while of course the game doesn't let us store any cargo, without access to a stupidly expensive fleet carrier! 😯😂), and I didn't want to risk giving the bloody pirates one unit of my hard-earned cargo! Anyway, as scary as that was, I'm pretty sure I was in no actual danger, that our ships can't actually take damage while in supercruise, but you never know! 😯😂😀🤘

I was sure I posted a reply here already but I don't see it anyway, it doesn't work with this glitch, once it happens it seems to "infect" other saves, I loaded some from long before the Delemain missions and it still happened - it's been getting very slowly better over the last few months and patches, however I still can't use the phone for any missions, so I'm stuck again until at least the next patch! 😯😐😂

@@tanner1ie I was sure it was the delamain mission due it it being the fix for me I got the same issue where I can’t interact with anything I think at that point it’s best to make a new save till further notice 😂

So far nothing has fixed the phone glitches for me!... I got some minor ones where the phone would ring and I couldn't answer it or I could open the phone but no one would answer, however they all fixed themselves after a few hours or days of play. But once I got this "stuck in call" glitch, my game hasn't been right (going back eight months and several patches)... Initially my game was completely broken, I couldn't save at all, interact with anything, sleep or fast travel - basically I couldn't play the game! However after intentionally killing my character and reloaded the latest checkpoint a few times, I could finally interact with things again and save by opening the stash, sleep and fast travel again... While after the most recent patch, I can finally save in the normal ways and send and receive texts, however I still can't use the phone in any way or wait - MAYBE the next patch will finally fix it, but I won't hold my breath! 😯😂😀🤘 (For example, I can physically find Judy, but not progress her quests, find Delemain taxis and while shooting them triggers a text warning, destroying them does nothing - I've completed practically every available quest that doesn't require the phone at this stage, so I basically can't progress my game right now, while even if I restart from the beginning, there's nothing to stop it happening again 😯😂)

Not really, my game has gotten slightly better over time, whether due to SOME fixes in patches or shifting memory and code... Initially when I had the stuck in call glitch, I couldn't save at all, then I could only save by opening the stash, while now I can save in the normal way from the main menu... While I can receive and respond to some texts, but the phone doesn't work at all for calls, so ANY quests involved calling or receiving a call I'm completely stuck on! I used to receive a call from Judy which I couldn't answer every time I loaded a save, but even that doesn't happen anymore, nor do I, as said receive calls from anybody else... At the moment my quest log says to "talk to Judy", but even when I physically find her, she doesn't do anything! While I'm hopeful patch 1.7 might finally fix the glitch, who knows if it actually will and when it will come out... In the meantime I've been doing every quest I can that either doesn't require calling someone or doing them until the point a phone call is involved, hoping it will fix the glitch if the game has less to do and it would hopefully free up memory and in game resources, but nothing has worked yet... I have about 20 quests that I can't start or progress and only two very hard boxing related quests left in my log, otherwise I can't do a thing... I've found some of the Delamain cabs in the wild, such as the one at the dump, while approaching it should trigger a call, but nothing happens... People said shooting or destroying such a cab fixed the glitch for them, but it didn't for me - shooting the cab triggers a texted warning, but destroying it does nothing 😯😂 . I've put more than 40 hours into my save and short of a miracle in a forthcoming patch, I think I might have to abandon this playthrough and start again, but of course there's nothing to stop this glitch happening again! 😯😂😀🤘

@@tanner1ie to fix it you have to receive a call then go talk to monitor delamain then go outside and it will let you talk to the person calling you and stop the glitch

@@copperkey4425 That might have worked for "just" the Delemain phone glitch, which indeed I had come and go, but this stuck in a call glitch is worse, NOTHING I or seemingly anybody else has tried with it has worked! I've had several phone glitches in this playthrough where the phone would completely or partially stop working for a few hours or days, but always came right eventually, but literally months after this glitch first happened and several patches later it's still not fixed... I've started and completed nearly every available quest and intentionally killed my character and reloaded the latest checkpoint many times but as said nothing fixes it, while even if I restart and throw away about a year of "progress", there's nothing to stop it happening again! 😯😂😀🤘

Indeed the bug is still there! I was hoping patch 1.6 would have finally fixed it but no!... I'm 40 hours struggling to make any more progress because so many quests require using the in game phone to progress any further and I can't, though of course there's nothing to stop it happening again even after a restart! It's just morbidly funny at this stage 😯😂😀🤘

@@tanner1ie had to back track an hour to finally get it to progress. Until some quest locks it out again. Embarrassing I waited hella long to play it the first time and even longer to run through a second time just to have it run even worse. Got a series x now and still problems.

Indeed, it's very annoying, between as said in the description and in various comments, between intentionally killing myself and loading the latest checkpoint and some tiny fixed by the Devs in recent patches, my game has gotten a bit better and is now "playable"... I can now save at car's stash (in addition to in an apartment, which I could before), use the apartment computer, sleep, fast travel, use the shower and interact with things again, BUT I still can't wait, save in the normal ways or most crucially, make or receive calls, so cannot progress any quests involving the phone. All in, these things SHOULD work, but they still don't. At this rate, the Devs MIGHT give us a bug free game in two to five years, but I'm not sure how many people will still be playing it then 🤔😯😂 .

@@tanner1ie and I was having so much fun like I knew who was going to call and cause the bug so I avoided the area. But my main story quest is there. It would be different if I could play the game and talk to people but I can't. Ugh I made a new character while I wait for them to fix it the only good thing to come from this is I get to romance Panam I think that's her name

Does anyone know away around this I have gave everything a go I’m like 60+ hours into the game and don’t want to start again. On ps5

I intend had a previous bug where the Delamain pictures was stuck in the corner, though I could still receive calls from others. I then had another bug where the phone was inaccessible, but I could still interact with things and save. Both of them bugs eventually cleared on their own. Finally I had this really bad one where the phone was inaccessible, I couldn't save or interact with anything.... I managed to make the game somewhat playable where it'll let me interact with some things, but not all after I intentionally killed my character jumping off the apartment baloney then reloading my latest check point, after I discovered the one place I could force the game to save was by entering and exiting the stash in the apartment. Which is where I am now. I haven't gotten a chance to play the game since but I'm hopeful if It will fix itself too if I play the missions that I can. You can read this in more detail in the description 🤔😀🤘 . Best of luck to you anyway.

Hopefully they can fix it for you and all of us, I've been considering contacting them myself (which is indeed why this video is so short - they only accept files of 24mb or less, I've some longer videos showing it too). However in case they can't fix it, I found a partial fix myself, if you read as far as the Update part of the video description you can see it - best of luck anyway and please tell me if support can indeed fix it 🤔😀🤘 .

​@@zerumsiru5204No, it followed me from PS4 to PS5, I made a certain amount of progress in some of the new quests and texts started working again, but I haven't been able to make it receive calls since this, while the glitch seemed to "infect" older saves, so I guess is stored in my global settings! I got stuck in a panic room on one of Panem's missions because I couldn't call Takemura and the door was locked behind me... The patch about a week ago, unlocked the door so I could explore the World again, but I STILL can't make or receive calls, though I can wait again! Maybe this time next year, they'll finally fix it (or as I always hope, "In the NEXT patch!" 😯😂🩲😀🤘🤞

If you read the update part of the description, long story short, i found a partial fix, that will hopefully work for you. As said I could do nothing at first, it was only when I was getting desperate and messing around the apartment, I managed to make the game just about playable again. Firstly I discovered that the one place I can force the game to save is by entering and exiting the stash in the apartment. Then I found that by intentionally killing my character then reloading the last checkpoint, I could interact with some stuff, but not all... As I also said, I had other phone glitches clear over time, so MAYBE I can play through this one and hopefully you can too! 🤔😯😀🤘 .

Firstly I discovered the one place I can force the game to save is after opening the stash in the apartment (which is strange I can even access, since I can't open the stash in a car's boot), it auto saves upon exiting it. After intentionally killing my character, jumping off the balcony outside the apartment then loading the most recent checkpoint, the game became just about playable! In many ways the game still blocks me, showing either the phone icon or states explicitly that I can't do X while in a call, it actually let me interact with the bed, couch, shower and mirror again! I was also able to start the downstairs neighbour quest. I still can't access the computer, save anyway except for auto saving from the apartment stash, call or answer anyone. On reloading a save after my "sacrifice", while Judy is still trying to call me, Delamain no longer is... Hopefully this helps some of you too 🤔😯😀🤘.

@@AbdullahAlshamiri Well I might be able to play through it and it might fix itself, particularly now if I can (hopefully) actually start and complete Judy and maybe the Delamain quest (s)... I've had two other less serious glitches with the phone already that cleared up themselves after a few hours play, hopefully then this will too now that I have some way to save the game. Of course it'd be better still if some new patch stops such glitches entirely, but overall it's not too bad now and I didn't want to give up nearly 30 hours of gameplay when it took me around a month to do, given my limited playtime. Anyway, that's just my two cents 🤔😀🤘 .

If you mean Judy's, I went to her apartment after she called, but I couldn't do anything there. She didn't react to my presence and with the interaction glitch this causes, I couldn't do anything else there... If you mean the Delamain quest, I'll try to hunt down their cars, but with I believe seven of them, it'll take a while to find them likely even with a guide and it might have no effect, but I do plan to try this weekend.

Not yet, as I said on this video, I've tried everything I can think of but nothing has worked so far. As I posted on a further video entitled "Proof...", the latest patch seems to have made the glitch even worst or added some new ones as I can't skip time in any of my saves, when I could before, not that it fixed the glitch. I also can't access the stash in the car boot now, must check if I can still in the apartment. About the only apparent fix that "might" help is destroying a Delamain car which supposedly forced their call to connect for some people, however since Judy's call won't connect, I doubt it will help. I'll try that at the weekend just in case it does anything to help, however the marker for their particular quest doesn't make them easy to find, so I'll have to use a guide to find one. If that doesn't work, I'll try contacting the devs technical support to see are they even aware of this problem or if they can do anything to help.
