To think.... Despite Everything we are, Everything we do, Everything we build,...None of it is truly permanent and all of it is but a tiny little speck before the entirety of our Galaxy. Even THAT isn't permanent! Eons from now, the Galaxy that our world is a part of will cease to exist and new ones will be born. It makes me wonder.... What sort of worlds would be born from THOSE Galaxies? Will it AT ALL resemble ANYTHING upon the world we know now? Will life be anything like it is as we know it? Will the scholars of those worlds ask these questions as I am now? How many times has this cycle played out? How many times WILL this cycle repeat itself? What happens when(if?) it all stops? Do these cycles fulfil some sort of Precursory Purpose? Who or what set it all into motion?

Two days ago was my college wide celebration for the end of the semester, everybody was partying and everybody got really drunk. Including me. It’s been a rough go for me at college, the work has been too much and there’s a lot of shitty people at my college who’ve tried to hurt my friends, so it’s been tough. I’ve constantly been thinking if this will all be worth it in the end. At this party, I was feeling pretty shitty because of how tough these last two years have been. My friend noticed, and he asked if I was ok. “At the end of last year, I said I needed a break. It’s been a whole ‘nother year Ian, and I’m still waiting for that fucking break”. After I said that, I cried more than I’ve cried in my entire life. This song makes me think of that exact moment
