Right hand fingerpicking needs to be automatic and perfect --& unaware ---to allow concentration on left hand chordal arpeggio

The second part of intro up on 11th fret is so complicated and confusing -----then down to an A minor shape --how damn difficult this is 1

your fingerpicking technique is vital to this intro---thumb and index alone is not good enough ---one needs expert finger style practise !
