My malabar has red vines. I have eaten it as a stir fry with breakfast. Are you eating the sprouts you harvested or are you replanting .

Purple yam aerial tubers resemble small potatoes, they are also brown in color which usually grow on the plant's vines and once they fall to the ground they eventually grow adventitious roots then in time a main vine comes out and leaves as well. So its easier to spot them when you see a young purple vine with young purple leaves on the ground.

It is quite a challenge to turn or convert a dumpsite into a fruit and vegetablesite... takes a lot of effort but it is worth it. Now its been set up and plants started to grow already, just waiting for them to flourish. May the Good Lord bless all the farmers in the world.

These are just some personal observations and lessons i got from my visits to the forests. There maybe more but these things that i have applied in my vegetable jungle really made my days as a simple urban farmer or gardener and self-made environmentalist. Thank you all for supporting our channel. Hope our community will grow as desired. Kudos to all the farmers in the world!

Ang lago na po ng mga tanim nyo Tay.. Ang gandang tingnan, makapg harvest na.. Ang galing po ng idea nyo nagtanim sa mga plastic bottles at sa lagayan ng gatas.. Dami n tlgang mga basura.. Excited na akong mkitang mamunga ang mga eggplants 🥰

I am very proud of this project bcoz its been successful so far. This video though not a quality one will become meaningful if it could inspire others to do the same in their individual homes. The rising price of vegetables is really not a joke these days.

I apologize for a very low quality video. I have not bought a new android phone yet. I am now growing vegetables in an unused land infront of our house to save funds for a new phone or camera. Wonderful to see ANC's living in a garden worm farm! I have four bucket (tower) worm farms buried in my vegetable garden. The buckets have holes and a lid to protect against rodents. The worms can come and go into the garden and back to the bucket for composting food. We lifted the buckets to harvest the castings, then buried with fresh bedding (I would be pleased if you check out my garden tower playlist). I have mostly red wigglers. ANC's would not survive our winter here on Vancouver Island.

Thanks for this valuable and precious experiential information Nana. Am not buying anymore red worms bcoz theyre quite expensive here in Cebu Philippines, more than a thousand peso per kilo instead i got them feast on organic waste from a grocery store and restaurants nearby, let our local native chickens process them til it turn to humus after 2 months then i release the chickens outside from the chicken composting tractor so they can eat grass or weeds for a month while inviting red wrigglers to process further the compost. Glad its working. Have no problem with weather changes here wet and dry its not really a problem. Though i love to see and experience snow myself really 😁. Kudos. Happy New Year Nana
