You have to do both, absolutely. I'm so Thankful that when I got saved I was discipled. A couple in my church at that time let me come to their house , call them anytime with questions. I was able to put down roots. It's so important. Evangelism is great yes but if your just getting people saved and nothing more your robbing people of truly knowing God

I saw Ian Mc Cormack many years ago on Revelation T.V. I've watched him many times since, and he has remained the same, you can see the joy expressed his speech, and seen on his face, His wife also radiates this joy. There are two others that you may be interested in. Randy Kay and Afshin Javid. The second person here Afshin was a former member of Hezbollah and his testimony is amazing, see it in full as they cut out parts in some of the later presentations. His conversion was akin to the story of Paul on the road to Damascus, and he has not changed either! full of joy. You want to feel the way Ian Mc Cormack is, so ask Jesus to come into your life, earnestly seek him, ask for the guidance, direction, presence, discernment and direction of the Holy Spirit. Seek out a Church of spirit filled believers. Go to the Father in the name and blood of his son, Jesus when you pray. Ask to become his child. Now if you are a child of the king what would a daughter of a king be called? A princess and daughter. Jesus died for you, that is how much you are valued. Now meditate on that and know it, therefore be joyful in that knowledge and do not doubt.

Some great points here. Although! Can I qualify! The scripture is not to make disciples, rather to teach ? And teaching can be done from the pulpit. Is teaching and making disciples two things or the same? King James makes it as teaching. If discipleship is different from teaching then how ? Is it more personal?

Hi C3, Let me start by fessing up- I haven’t chosen the two subjects I cover here - faith and money - because they happen to interest me. I chose them because I have things to say from scripture which are absolutely pertinent to the future of C3 Global. FAITH What is the nature of the faith that saves us? Is it to believe that Jesus died for our sin? Contrary to popular belief, no. I challenge anyone reading this to reply with a passage of scripture which indicates that the faith through which we are saved is centred on Jesus’ death. Instead what you will find is that saving faith centres on the LORDSHIP of Jesus. Acts 16:31 ESV And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” But why? Why - when we are only saved because of Christ’s death? Read on for an answer to this question. Christianity has two dimensions - not one: -Christianity is Christ dying and rising from the dead for us -Christianity is our dying and rising WITH Christ. The process we go through when we get saved and sanctified is determined by the second of the items above - as well as the first. Most people are familiar with the idea that we must be born again in order to be saved - but what is being born again? It has two steps - ‘dying’, and being made alive. Let’s consider then how interacting with God can lead to our dying and rising with Christ. God has four main character attributes - holiness, justice, mercy, and grace. These together are his love. The first two attributes I listed - holiness and justice - lead to our ‘dying’. They show us that we are sinners (by contrast with God’s character) - they reveal that we are isolated from God - indebted in a way we cannot repay - subject to judgement. But here’s the very important thing that I am wanting to explain - the way to be led to death by God’s holiness and justice is TO RECEIVE THEM. Receiving them is the way we exercise faith. The last two attributes lead to our rising with Christ - God’s mercy reveals to us that our debt is cancelled - and God’s grace (which is his perfect self-giving intention - proven by his actions being accompanied by the fruit of the Spirit - Galatians 5:22) leads to our having joy that never goes away. (Happiness is linked to earthly circumstances - joy is linked to eternal circumstances). Again - receiving God’s mercy and grace IS how we relate with God through faith. So then - conversion is faith through and through - nothing BUT faith - but not any old faith - it is faith which receives each of God’s main character attributes one by one. Notice that faith is belief that Jesus has earned his right to our lives before faith is faith that Jesus is merciful and gracious. There is only one kind of faith in the bible - this faith. When Jesus tells people he heals “your faith has healed you” he isn’t saying that the people who were healed had faith that he would heal them (just as the faith that saves us isn't believing Jesus died for us). These are not just healing moments - they are prototype salvation moments. The faith that healed these people is their belief that IN ALL OF LIFE God is the one to turn to - that he has earned the right to our lives. So then - what about C3 believing for a million people to be in C3 churches? How should we think about this faith? I have just explained that all true faith leads to our being led to death. To be a Christian is to have all selfish hopes put to death - with these replaced by new ability to please God - and new goals in Christ. We are not free to ‘have faith’ in any area in which our flesh still rules us. Instead we must wait for God to give us HIS vision in areas in which our flesh is still being rendered dead. MONEY Let me now turn to money and its relationship with the cross. If you believe you have probably heard someone tell you that it isn’t possible to earn God’s forgiveness. But has anyone ever asked you whether it’s possible to earn God’s PROVISION? I expect not. But why not? The reason why you likely have never considered this question is because generally speaking those who profess a faith in the first world act as if it’s THEIR responsibility to earn God’s provision. Imagine for a moment that it was a man’s responsibility to earn money to feed his family. If that was so it would mean that if he couldn’t get a job despite trying - or if he was ill - he would have failed in his responsibility. You might react to this by saying that it is his responsibility whenever he is able to earn God’s provision. But that doesn’t make sense. If God is able to provide for a man’s family without requiring a man to work some of the time - why not all the time? There would have to be some reason why a man working was ALWAYS related to God being glorified - but no actions of human beings are ALWAYS righteous - only actions which are obedience (instead of sacrifice) are righteous. (We are required to share what God HAS provided us with our family - or be worse than an unbeliever - see 1 Tim 5:8. And the bible also condemns laziness). So then - how should we relate rightly with work and money? Instead of asking God where he wants us to earn - or how he wants us to earn - we should instead ask God what he wants us TO DO. When we do God will respond one of three ways: 1. He will ask us to do nothing - to rest. This is wonderful news for someone who is exhausted - and terrifying news for someone who finds their identity in their work - or fears that God will not provide. 2. He will ask us to do X task - with that task not having an associated salary. If he does that it’s a sign that he intends to provide for us by some other means than through our work. 3. He will ask us to do X task - but the task does have an associated salary. Even in this case though our employer is not our provider. We are therefore free to WISELY speak and model the truth in our work place - instead of sucking up to our employer. My suggestion to C3 Global is this - to make sure that everyone from Phil Pringle through to all leaders in your denomination- is relating to God through saving faith - not out of fleshly faith. I say this because God will not allow his church to be built on a false foundation. And also to make sure that your approach to money is consistent with rendering all worldly plans which have potential relationship with money and personal ambition dead at the cross - both through REAL RELIANCE on God in the area of money - AND by being sure that you are only doing what God's word says he values. (Beware of considering a plan of God godly ONLY because EITHER you operate in faith - OR ONLY because it is something God reveals he values in the bible). When you get this right you will become more intimate with God - this will cause your flesh to be defeated instead of it distorting your character and intentions. Remember Jesus' advice to the man who loved his money - to sell all his possessions and to come and follow him. God isn't short of money. (We can do the same in the area of ambition - we can refuse to do any action influenced or controlled by our flesh - trusting that in any area where we are weak God will be willing to do more).

Yes, Pastors and Preachers should preach Scripture and stay away from Christian Apologetics ( because Apologetics will be the end of them ).
