Since when does the New Zealand Army have a forage cap? Anyone know why they wear it here?
@davidbolton49304 жыл бұрын
They've been using it for probably 130 years on and off... I mean it not the lemon squeezer but I've only seen the band wear on and off

Yes!! What musical training these band members have learned. Just the cadence of the band floor's me. Their county should be very proud of these band members.

An all brass and drum band, what a treat, and very rare.

bcwest56 -Traditional (British) Brass Band instrumentation, no woodwinds. NZ is blessed to have a strong community brass band culture that includes marching where most of these players would likely have started out.

You NZ soldier? Would love to correspond. Discovering your country for the first time through music you may know from the 60s/70s and of course for the Army there was the famous ANZACS in WW1. Very brave and wonderful soldiers are from New Zealand and your brother nation Australia and the more I look at how England and their culture are going down the more I think maybe one day I'll end up Down Under either with you or the Aussies. My dream is to go to your countries. Have met many great people from NZ/OZ and have had nothing but positive experiences. Great soldiers. Fill me in more on what the current day's fighting force is doing/how to contact. Much appreciation, Ben
