I have the 1/4 and 3/8 sae and metric chrome mid length sockets and ended up getting a deal a couple of years ago on 1/4 120xp gear wrench socket set $45 Amazon the day after black Friday and the same year 2 days after Christmas i got the 3/8 90t socket set so other than my truck crash kit or junkyard scrounge set of husky brand 194pc mechanic tool set i bought used from Mercari, my mobile setup is gear wrench and a few Pittsburgh and icon ratchets thrown in, and until I get my garage Kennedy mechanic 11 drawer tool chest with the big middle top square drawer 2 inch riser and 4 drawer roll around bottom cabinet organized with the majority of it being tekton tools, the geawrench is usually what im using, and it is powder coat orange although I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be powder coat red its just faded

Be cool if you’d show how you get the end with double nuts to fit through the hole without retracting…then you stop the head on the other end from spinning whilest you tighten the nylon nut…I’m sure an experienced certified mechanic can answer that…but, after all, why would anyone watch KZbin for install instructions? Certainly not to compare our girths…just sayin’

I spent hours trying to find the exact Toyota part number and the Toyota trim clip kits they sell do not have the sizes you need for any of the interior pieces.

3:30 not necessarily. They are not TTY bolts and if you find the original Japanese made head bolts in ones' older truck (pre 94 I think / VIN number starts with a "J ") then I would reuse those. A: because there has never been stronger steel made, B: their threads will probably mate/grip better with their corresponding blind holes in the block, and C: A guy on Toyota Forum suggested a great way to torque them down (which makes a lot of sense)...torque to 25% first, back off a quarter of a turn then back to 25%, then same thing at 50%, 75%, then 100% (or 56 ft. lbs). Slightly oiled also...best chance of getting good and even clamp of head to block. Everything else being equal i.e. clean and flat surfaces, no signs of rust, and accurate torque wrench etc..

can i wear these in summer ? in 25 degrees celcius (not sure what that is in F°)
@Toyotas_n__Tools4 ай бұрын
Absolutely, I wear boots in all weather even 100+ degrees and the only thing that I do differently from season to season is change the type of socks I wear. Another thing none of my boots have an odor to them, like a sneaker would.

Get an oil pump seal that is 7mm thick instead of the usual original 11mm. The original 11 mm oil pump seal can wear a grove on the harmonic balancer which will then leak oil. The 7mm will ride the harmonic balancer in a different area and therefore not leak oil. Take a millimeter ruler with you on your trip to the auto parts store to measure their oil seal to make sure you get a 7mm oil pump seal.

This video is really dumb. You go there for some good quality products. OK off jump street you sound uninformed. You go to harbor freight for the price it's a discount tool store you don't go for quality. And with the sign on the jack just read! I'm sure it was on the 2 ton stack and guess what? Someone bought one and moved the sign! Complaining over nothing here and wasting my time.

I prefer the nicks, the mountain lights are kinda bulky and wide where as the nicks are built to conform to your foot.

Sorry late to the party, but I'm curious abut the sizing. What size do you wear in a sneaker? I wear a 13 in a sneaker, but in nearly all boots I wear a 12. How is the fit? I'm afraid to buy online.
@Toyotas_n__Tools7 ай бұрын
They're wide so you will probably down size as you do. Thanks for the response.

The adjustment is 7-13 clicks. Wray I can't figure out is where the adjustment is on the 4x4 ext cab because that adjustment looking bolt is fixed. When I tightened up the drum brakes the parking brake got really tight like 2-3 clicks so I'm trying to figure out how to back off the parking brake without adjusting my brake shoes too loose

I noticed that these come in EE sizing. I wear a size 10, so should i get a 9.5? I want them to fit on my feet perfectly, instead of having a lot of wiggle room yunno
@Toyotas_n__Tools10 ай бұрын
Yes go half size down, if you can find a dealer nearby try on the 9 and then 9.5. Also make sure the dealer carries the particular model before just going to any boot shop that says they have Danners.

Oh I know, theres brackets on etsy now since this video was posted I been thinking about getting one of those brackets and fitting the clinometer to it then customizing the cover with fiberglass to it fits right or buy a toyota cover and see how it fits since theyre pretty much the same dimension wise.
