I got to ride in one last Oct. What a blast. The loudest damn thing I've ever heard. Whole new respect for the crews who had tigjt spaces, long flights and extreme weather.

Rule number one when it comes to helicopter safety never leave or approach the helicopter from the front that’s where the blades are at their lowest because of the angle of the main rotor hub
