Some strange decisions on camera angles and editing make it tough for someone who hasn't been to PG in a while to figure out locations.. I moved away 30 odd years ago and little has changed. Still a mean, dirty little city. Looks like it might have shrunk since I lived there..

lol...scenic drive at 100 klm+ hour right by a slowly dying town . The old history is pretty cool with a booming mining town with banks, hotels, bars, miners, families, school, hospital, jail, bakeries, eateries, laundry, brothels.. A population of over 1000 in early 1900's, once the railway and mine closed down in 1954-55, people fled. Surprised that no new business proposals or small town revival ideas were ever introduced. Even as a hunting/fishing / camping /log home vacation destination. I've been to the town 4-5 times on my way to Penticton. Drove/walked around the town a bit to explore . Always wonder what the heck do the under 300 pop. do in this town to keep from going crazy from boredom. If anybody living in Hedley watching this video could chime in with living there experience, that be great.

i am just comparing your recent West Kelowna hwy drive versus this Vernon hwy drive. West kelowna seems so....i dunno how to put it....Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.. Like no downtown, no character, just one long highway strip mall. I know they have nice parks and beaches away from the highway. And some very nice middle upper class / luxury homes and townhomes/condos. But at least vernon has something going on away from the main highway. a downtown, some very nice neighborhoods from working class to the wealthy. West Kelowna reminds me of driving along the lougheed hwy past Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows.....gas station, fast food outlets, strip malls. Industrial lots, electronics, furniture type stores....ZZZzzzz. Roar of traffic , you don't even want to walk on the sidewalks, use the car to where to go. No big leafy trees or little parks with green space, water fountains to go cool off in a typical hot Okanagan summer day. Ughh.

Should let it play longer than that man. That's our national anthem but anyway that must have been taken on Canada today or he's got his kid. They're going for a picnic in the park and he's proud to be a Canadian right on bro

We were in Drumheller several years ago to see the Dinosaur Museum. I couldn't stay in the Badlands area, there was something oppressive that felt like it was closing in on me. It was the weirdest thing, my husband, the kids, no one else was feeling affected, just me, but I had to get out of there. I don't think that I could ever feel comfortable going back there but I'd still recommend anyone else to visit, the museum is amazing and the area is fantastic. It's a fascinating area and beyond interesting. Just not for me.
