Today is 13th anniversary of Plastic Beach. I feel so incredibly dumb for not appreciating this album sooner than I did. I was more so a Demon Days fan obsessed with Feel Good Inc, and Clint Eastwood fan. But now after listening through Gorillaz’s discography, this might actually be No.1 for me now. I’m really impressed with David Albarns work on this. From Superfast Jellyfish to Empire Ants, and to On melancholy hill. Sweepstakes is underrated. Empire Ants makes me wanna tear up ๐·°(৹˃̵﹏˂̵৹)°·๐ No.1 Plastic Beach No. 2 Demon Days No. 3 The Now Now

I remember hating on "sweepstakes" calling it the worst Track on the album. It wasn't when I finally started to listen to the album again this year. And I take everything back for what I said about "sweepstakes" easily one of the most experimental song from plastic beach album ❤

yep, apparemment tout le monde déteste plastic beach mais jlai toujours trouvé bien mieux en tout point a Demon days et un chouïa meilleur que le premier album. comme tu l'a dit y a rien a jeter dedans et l'album est beaucoup plus cohérent contrairement a demon days ou finalement j'ecoute 3-4 piste et je zappe toujours le reste de l'album. et c'etait aussi mon ressenti de Humanz , damon albarn aurait du cut la moitié des piste et la on aurait eu un bon album parce qu'en l'etat actuelle des choses on peut vraiment jeter 50% a la poubelle.
