The only honest response to doubt is to follow it wherever it leads. If you can't commit to follow the TRUTH, then you are committing to lies. Lies that you suspect are lies. Lies that have you deceived, waste your life. And please tell me: HOW did John the Baptist escape Herod's so-called slaughter of the Innocents? Jesus and Co got the intel to flee, but SOMEHOW John's family didn't? So they were left having to get through it? I doubt very much that Herod's thugs asked for birth certificates. John was only 6 months older. So how did he not get murdered, too? No answer? Of course, you don't have an answer. Because the entire tale is a literary device to get Jesus to "come out of Egypt." And then you wonder why people doubt.........
