It took me months to get my methadone script. His right about more support centers need opening cause when fentanyl takes over heroin cause Afghanistan cut production by 90%. My support worker gave me nitazene drug test strips cause it's killing people synthetic opioid 500 x stronger than heroin. Looking at what it's done in America I can't even imagine what it will do to the UK.'

Theres 1000s of empty flats and big buildings in every city in the UK. The homeless sector makes billions each year. The people in control will never give up that under the table income. The full homeless sector is one of the biggest scam money makers going.

Agreed. Interviewer presumably wants to get good at interviewing so perhaps he'd like some feedback. His questions are good. He gets useful information out of people and he gives people the space to answer the questions. The "okays" are way too much. He's presumably using "okay" to tell his interviewee that he is listening and give himself time to consider the next question he's going to ask. All he needs to do is look at his interviewee, nod to acknowledge them and stay silent whilst he thinks. A great example is at 05:46, it's perfect! Keep up the videos man. They're really interesting and you do well getting people opening up. Good stuff.

A shower, haircut, and clean clothes would be a good start... And he I itially said he is homeless and, later, he's been in a hostel for 4 weeks... Bullshitter, plain and simple. These people prey on emotional blackmail, telling you what they know you want to hear... Finally, at the end, he admits it's his 'fault', his responsibility for his taking drugs, no-body else's... Just don't give them cash, just offer them food and a drink, a cigarette, or, most importantly, offer them advice.
@paulwilson1555Күн бұрын
Is a hostel a home, or just a temporary place to stay ? He doesn't have his own place,therefore I guess he considers himself homeless.

'modern-day slavery', i.e. blame everyone else so they don't have to take responsibility for themselves... I'd take what this guy says with a HUGE pinch of salt... If he doesn't look like a full-on junkie then Santa's my dad...
@LongFinger021Күн бұрын
Yes exactly this. Always someone else's fault. He was working off a drug debt but made out he's the victim
@gutz32322 сағат бұрын
You maybe right, he must have chose to start dealing in the first place, but... I have seen and heard on more than one occasion where I am from, where county line type gangs, prey on the vulnerable junkies, get them to start running drugs for them, then set them up to get robbed. The dealers get their drugs back and also get a debt that the junkie can't pay off, so they end up taking over the junkies property, and force them to work off the debt for sometimes many months, while totally taking the piss out of them and their property, and giving them just enough drugs to keep their withdrawals at bay, so they can run drugs for them pretty much 24 hours a day. The house enevitably gets busted by the police, the junkie takes the charge, the gangs get away scott free, and they go on to the next gullible, vulnerable victim. I guess the victim isn't forced in to it in the first place, but they get in to a predicament that they can't get out of, so it is kind off modern day slavery. It also happens with prostitutes in a similar way, many prostitutes know in the beggining what kind of work they are getting in to, but they end up getting in to a position they can't get out of, because they owe a debt to the traffickers that brought them to this country in the first place, but they didn't realise they would get charged as much as they thought, in the first place. Most modern day slaves, do actually choose the lifestyle they live, but don't realise they have been conned untill it is too late.
