Very interesting point, Kevin! We, as Catalan/ Spanish speakers, occasionally tend to speak more "in a monotone" than English ones. We may even seem, sometimes, a bit rude or uninterested... which is not true, of course! Just a matter of linguistic structure. So, as an English learner, I should get out of my comfort zone and try "to sound a bit exaggerated". THE PIZZA WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, instead of just "( VERY ) DELICIOUS". And indeed, I have to utter it using a RISING TONE: English rhythm and intonation!!! ( future KZbins? )
