I met Lonnie Mack at an old blues club in Dearborn Heights Michigan called Sully's I sat with them at the bar and had a drink he actually bought me a drink I showed a picture of him and Stevie Ray that Stevie had signed for me tears ran down his face and said I miss that man Lonnie looked at me and of course I had tears to he said what are you drinking I said Jim Beam we did a shot he talked a little about Stevie Ray he signed it for me now they're together again what a beautiful song What a beautiful man nobody even acknowledges the day he passed away because Prince passed away the same day I think that BS so every time they say hey there's another year Prince passed away I put on and Lonnie Mack album

@@havenblues6471 priceless I'm at ZZ Top two hung out with Frank beard and Dusty Hill for about an hour on a tour bus before they left I don't know where the Reverend was but I did meet them all I have been blessed to play music with some great musicians and touch people in their hearts put out couple of demos in the 90s that's about it Robin Trower Frank Marino Alice Cooper sitting next to Bob Seger at a Detroit Tiger game nice guy

Beautiful song, touched me deep into my weary heart. Seems I somehow relate to the lyrics too. Lost my soulmate of 40 years last February and sometimes I feel so empty and cold. Listening to the blues seems to comfort me, it eases the pain and make me feel a little whole again. Thanks for sharing. Greetz from a Dutch lady
