While I do like the Graj engine, I think there's defo enough room to explore a deckbuild without it. Besides being good ride targets the grade 1/2's do pretty much nothing and could be used for running other cards. I might make a video with a couple different sample decklists if I feel like it's worth showing off.

it's fine, I hate running a card that's neither a body or a combo piece in a deck like this, but if you want to slot it in it's a pretty good card. After you go for a greedmax play it helps you survive your opponents stride turn so you can Gally after.

So the play would be Grajiorl if you go first to give you t3 multiattack and setting up 10k interceptors to survive the opponent's 1st stride, then into Ines as she's better defensively, or t3 ines if you go second and just use Grajiorl as stride fodder since he does nothing when you're striding over him.

@@tynytian yup, that's pretty much the idea! The nice part about Graji is that also don't need to call anything from his on attack skill, so if you want to play more pasively and conserve the cards in your hand you can also do that.

I've tested Jumbo and it's alright, it opens up some lines, but most of the time they are pretty niche low cb plays specifically when your opponent doesn't hit any defensives and you already had a good board, it only working during battle phase is the main thing holding it back. Mikani usually ends up costing 2CB to use and you need to keep a g1 in soul specifically to snipe honoly and outside of that it's mostly just a fat brick in the deck, I wanted to run as little g3's as I could. Also usually just using 2CB to pay for Honoly turns out just as good as it would have been if I used Mikani. Mayhem Tiger is extremely niche, because he does get stopped by perfect guards/gguards/any other special interaction. As a "finisher" I just played Chemist instead who is much more consistent at breaking your opponents hand and also helps you play over multiple defensives.

I will make an updated deck profile once I get my hands on the new stride. But the short answer is - yes, the new stride is extremely good, it's pretty much Ice Petal Shirayuki but is not locked behind GB3 and also fills your board.
