Couldn't disagree with your statements more. I used XM4s and decided to get them back cause' of some issues I wasn't aware of. These are an excellent pair of headphones with an excellent sound characteristic similar to XM4's, and I haven't had any problems with that pair. You can optimize the ANC with the app, even the sound profile with the app's EQ. I'll have to disagree with everything you said in the video about them: these paid have something similar in sound profile to the XM4s. Without the extra bass, of course! If you want something cheap with good sound characteristics in mid-tier tech, go for it, the blue color especially.

Agree 200%. I bought these to replace my Sony XB950 and I returned them the same day. At max level, the XB950 is louder and has killer bass and oomph when xtra bass is enabled compare the 910. Honest to God, if you like Trap, Rap, EDM, R&B, Pop, Trance music, these 910 will not give you the oomph. The Skullcandy Crusher series put the Sony 910 and 900 to shame really. I can't speak for the Sony 1000 series because I don't own them, but the 910 and 900 are disappointing and the Sony app doesn't even do much for the bass either. Since my XB950 broke, I'm been rocking the Skullcandy Hesh ANC and the Crusher Evo. I mean, even Country, Christian, New Age, Jazz and Classical music sound good on the Skullcandy and when I need the thump, oomph, kick it, the bass deliver on the Skullcandy Evo. Sony is just hype and branding IMHO. Thanks for being honest, the rest KZbinr are just hyping it up for views and $$$$.

Weird, I'm getting the opposite experience. XB 75 sounds cleaner to me which I like and XB55 sounds alot bassier to me which I also like. But, it is so bassy that the bass will bleed into the vocals and obscures it somewhat which I dont find with the 75. So it's difficult for me to pick between the both too because 75 seems more like a sidegrade than an upgrade of the 55.

It means the xb910 have brighter signature sound compared to xb900 or other warmer series if its causing your ears to ring also I noticed no bass vents on the new one is missing
