Was this resort close to the airport and is it close to any big cities?

It's about a 20 min drive to Da Nang International Airport (if that, less if there's no traffic), and also a short drive from the ever growing and developing city of Danang. It's also about a 25-40 min from the old town of Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Quite a few interesting sites within a 30-60min drive really - especially culture, history, food and nature (as well as city-life).

Siam is also located near famous shopping malls such as Siam Paragon, CentralWorld and MBK Center. This makes the area a good destination for people who want to shop and visit❤❤

Actually this hotel although it's called The Siam isn't in the main Siam area :) But their boat means you can visit along the Chao Phraya river quite easily.

I flew this product on the inaugural flight from Ord to Auh back in June 2022. I was in seat 12k. I love Etihad great service and great onboard product.

That depends on your price expectation for Maldives resorts. It's higher than the lower end of the luxury 5-star Maldives properties, but lower than the top end of the luxury 5-star Maldives properties. Accounting for its full-board nature, I'd say it sits somewhere in the middle. We were just at Soneva Kiri (in Thailand) which we find to be very intriguing - although not a private island, and find it more unique than the Soneva properties in the Maldives. Thank you - it certainly is. Certainly one of the most breathtaking/unique, if not one of the very best, we've ever been to. One you fall in love with immediately upon arrival, and never want to leave once you're there. We actually visited in 2019 (site visit only - we were staying at another resort) and fell in love with just when doing a visit...decided to come back next year and enjoy a proper stay. But 'next year' turned into 3 years thanks to Covid. Great to be able to finally experience it.
