Also why do you have a 14” zipper but the fabric is 11x13? It doesn’t make any sense. Are you sure it’s 14”?
@MadeByShaySharee
@MadeByShaySharee 17 күн бұрын
Yes, I started with a 14" zipper and cut it down to size. You can use whatever size zipper you're comfortable with.

It would be helpful if you put in the description that you need 2 separate 11x13 fabrics for both the main fabric and the lining. :)

Very nice. I have made a few book sleeves but haven't tackled installing a zip. I was wondering what seam allowance you used? Thank you for this tutorial.

Thank you much! I like the added security of a zip. For this project I used a 1/4 in. seam allowance.

@@MadeByShaySharee nice! I think you posted this video months ago so that’s pretty great news for your experiment and how it held up! I hope you had a good art show and many more 🌼💜🌼 Ps have you ever used a “grommeter “? You’d love one for stuff like this. You can get them for like 10 bucks and a bunch of the grommets at a harbor freight. They’re so easy to use and really add to the strength thanks again dude ❤❤❤

Hi shay you just brought me back 18 years ago 😆🤣😁 love it but had to stop. That is CP . Since then, my daughter has taken over with. MP Now I do all kinds of crocheting and jewelry, making to. I am also teach myself how to knit socks, I love making sterling, silver chains, bracelets rings, earrings and necklaces. I also do bead weaving so much fun. Pretty bar of soap you can cut down on the ash by placing cellophane over your soap. If you’re not looking for a textured pattering on top, or you can just spray with basic alcohol, this should help cut down on your ass and should leave a shiny top on top of your loaf of soap. Some people go for the look of ash, it doesn’t hurt you or the bar. Thanks for sharing.❤

Thanks for the tip! I've tried alcohol but it didn't do much for me, I'll have to try the cellophane. And yes to all of your creativity! We can never stick to just one discipline, gotta have multiple expressions. 🤣
