Ytps are definitely one of the main influences that pivoted me into exploring expression and multimedia tools and arts. Idk where i would be if i havent come across Hoh Sis.

15:00 that’s a really good point. Every once in a while there’s some media I go back to and say “wow I could watch this a hundred times and still be entertained” and that’s when I know it would be a fun YTP material to work on

Softest commentary channel of all time. Dude would rather eat deadly food than have some scam artist “chefs” get yelled at

I don't know I only watched it because it was ALWAYS on until Sheen got booted out. Wasnt really funny or clever or different but had some decent actors and you couldnt avoid it, even here in England.

I don't like Gordon Ramsay anyways, so not watching his content is easy for me.

Bit late, but I THINK the 3D part in the show references a 3D news video that a Chinese news site or news show made about Charlie. I honestly cant seem to find anything about this, but I remember it being a thing for a while online around 2013 or so.

This is a bit hyperbolic and nonsensical, the whole “Tough love is It’s physically harming people”. Look, if you’re just breaking someone down to be mean then sure, but if you’re dealing with people who aren’t learning the easy way and you don’t have time to coddle them forever in hopes they’ll eventually get it, then being a basted if part of providing real advice and direction is a legitimate tactic. Sure, Gordon is over the top and even if it’s not just for the cameras, it’s what happens when you see being a bastard actually work and start to think more is more. You see this a lot with people who saw a lot of success being a bastard and start to think it’s all because of being one. Steve Jobs is another prime example. But to pretend it’s all just sociopathic behavior and never has a positive outcome is just dishonest.

I don't know what you're talking about, the ending is the only good part about the show.

People forget, it’s not a cooking show, it’s not a business show, it’s a television show. Like X factor isn’t about finding talent. It’s about making you watch. All it needs is a thin veneer of authenticity and your eyeballs will stay locked on it. The rest is just Gordon Ramsay promoting his own brand and looking like a saviour.

The restaurants fails because of the owners, building the owners make more sense than fixing the food first.

UK Kitchen Nightmares actually brings out the actual Gordon and sticks to the theme of the show lool, he picks restaurants that aren't performing well (sometimes the food is actually good but they fail for other reasons) and Gordon actually helps them identify the problem, find ways to fix it and helps the restaurant on its way back. I think in the time between the UK and US versions Masterchef and Hell's Kitchen happened, he gained the reputation of being the hardass taskmaster chef who swore at literally anyone and everyone and turned up that personality to the US version lmao

There was one episode with a sushi restaurant where Gordon really laid into the really timid and humble japanese owner/chef because when he asked if the fish was fresh or frozen, the chef said 'frozen'. That's when I knew Gordon had no idea what he was talking about. Fish used in sushi BY LAW has to be flash frozen in order to kill parasites. So I guess, you better be careful ordering anything raw at one of Gordon's restaurants 😂
