I came over from London to be in PACT in 1964/1965 so stared at the pictures in the vain hope that I'd remember some faces. Sadly not so, though I recalled the rehearsal space (with those nasty 'crown' lights), and various ballets we did - 'Nutcracker', 'Carmen', 'Coppélia' etc. After my brief flirt with Classical Ballet I became an actor which kept me busy till 5 years ago, but so good to be reminded of my formative years!

Thank you Jean-Pierre. Every parent whose child does ballet, needs to watch this. The discipline required for classical ballet needs to be understood. I enjoyed this, thank you.

Well done Phil & Dance For All, you and Phyllie have changed lives and positively contributed to a better South Africa today. You all should be proud of what you have achieved as white people working in the townships of SA... Many of us are examples of your success or We have made your work a success. The struggle continues as millions more children still need a hand up!! It is our time as the BLACK ARTISTS to free our own PEOPLE and COMMUNITIES through dance OR any other means.... Thuma Mina, I have been doing it for 16yrs with iKapa Dance Theatre.... still, Amandla, Ngawethu...

I was luckily enough to know Monique in the late 80's and got to see her dance on a few of the shows I did lighting on back then. She was always in a class of her own, really stood out as a dancer
