Hans, I also saw you playing the Vintera Tele. Feel-wise, how these to compare?
@hanskorn
@hanskorn 6 күн бұрын
@@emremulkut Vintera has a thicker neck. Squier CV is a lot thinner. For me, I prefer the Vintera neck. Playing the Vintera with the thicker neck just felt more “authoritative,” inspired more confidence, and I could feel the attack, sustain, and resonance of each note. The Squier CV neck was fine, however it did not feel as responsive or dynamic. That’s my very personal take on it, but I hope that helps!

Is it good for beginners? Im looking to get a good amp for me, a beginner, is this or the nux mighty 8 better? Not the nux mighty 8bt, just 8 and do you have any amount recommendations? Thank you
@hanskorn
@hanskorn Ай бұрын
Yes, the Micro Cube is a good amp for beginners. Straight forward and easy to dial in a good, usable tone so you can start playing right away. Positive Grid Spark Mini is also good because of the vast online library of tones you can pull up at the swipe of a finger. This is what I use nowadays. Yamaha THR10 II is also good. Easy to dial in tones and save presets. It can maintain clarity at higher volumes, but not loud enough to keep up with a drummer. It also serves as a low latency audio interface if you decide to record. Hope that helps!

The ONLY THING I would change about this one of the highest VALUE guitars I have ever seen. That is the bridge pup. Too much twang and low output. Seymour Duncan SSL-6 into the bridge. The OP is obviously VERY much enjoying this amazing guitar.

Great playing and beautiful guitar! Seeing that you've been showing several different guitars, I'd like to know: do you have any specific recommendations for a $300-$400 tele/strat/sstrat? As someone who is on a tight budget, but also not a beginner, it's been rough finding the one to get. Thanks for the videos!
@hanskorn
@hanskorn 2 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching, Pedro. For the $300-$400 price range, I recommend the Ibanez AZES40. It's versatile as it can do strat, tele, and has a bridge humbucker for heavier tones. If you're leaning towards a certain guitar body style, then Sire S3 or Sire T3. Hope that helps!

fantastic, based on your experience could you recommend a guitar that doesn't cost a lot but has similar characteristics to this one? Does it have a radius ranging from 9.5 to 12? I'm looking for a guitar that also gives me these clean sounds like Dan Huff, Lukather etc etc
@hanskorn
@hanskorn 3 ай бұрын
Sire S7 HSS is the closest. Strong features are its fretboard edges, similar neck heel, locking tuners, and lack of string trees. 9.5” radius. PRS SE Swamp Ash Special has unique out of phase/split coil tones that get you into the Dan Huff ballpark without going full Strat. The neck pickup can still get the SRV bite and bridge pickup can get you into Les Paul territory and even Tele sounds when tapped. 10” radius. Hope that helps!

@@hanskorn @hanskorn Grazie per aver risposto. Ho già un Charvel San Dimas Japan ma ora vorrei un HSS. Cosa ne pensi della Schecter Route 66 Potrebbe essere una buona idea? Li avete mai provati?
@alescorpions
@alescorpions 3 ай бұрын
I'm sorry, maybe you've never tried them because it's a model that Schecter only makes for the Italian market. however they are like the Johnston nicks but with different pickups.
@hanskorn
@hanskorn 3 ай бұрын
@@alescorpions I haven’t tried the Schecter Route 66 nor the Schecter Nick Johnston models, however I considered buying this guitar at one point, but went for a Charvel DK22. I would’ve gone for the Schecter in retrospect. Coming from your Charvel San Dimas, the Schecter might feel more comfortable for you because of the slim neck, flat 14” radius, and jumbo frets. Sire S7 has more vintage/modern Fender-esque specs in comparison to the fully modern specs of the Schecter. If you’re looking for modern specs with a modern/vintage sound, you might want to consider the Schecter.

Hey. Great playing out there. I am considering to buy one. I am confused whether to go for this or save almost 100-150 dollars by buying an Ibanez GRX40. Kindly suggest. Thanks. 🙏
@hanskorn
@hanskorn 3 ай бұрын
Thank you. I recommend Ibanez AZES40. Easier to play and bend because of the 25” scale length compared to 25.5” of GRX40 and more tonal options. Hope that helps.
