Klimaatverandering? Is niks mis mee toch?

Biertje erbij.

Blah blah on the climate change talk. Population keep growing in numbers day by day, and Nature loses its fight each day that passes. We over fish the oceans and then the 1/4 to 1/3 who have a toilet hooked up to a sewer system, we dump are crap in to rivers or the ocean along with tons of garbage. We are the only animal on the planet who defecates in water that 2/3's of the people on earth, can't even imagine the idea of it. And on ground , we drill it, blast it, mine it and pump it. then clear cut it, hunt it and farm it or kill it. Only thing everyone can agree on ! The human population can't and won't ever do anything at all towards pollution. And it does not matter what your beliefs are .Even if you are a eco nutcase who recycles anything , and pedals to work. Or you don't believe a word of climate skeptics as they are too far out in the fringe to even listen to, while you are driving a jacked up turbo diesel 4X4 truck. Governments only talk shit and do even less, and really only agree to a climate agreement only to look like they care. Also to make the people who cry climate change, feel good. The little done is never going to be enough, and to do enough is going to mean KILLING off humans numbers. Ok I don't like the Idea of myself becoming a "sacrificial lamb" for the world. So I am choosing life in a human created shit hole. So go ahead every body do what you have to do and either live your life day by day. Or just stop your crying and worrying about everyone and give up your own number in the population of humans. All talk and no action except the idea of Carbon Tax, AND IT is the biggest fucking joke on the working class people. Or are you really that stupid or naive to think that a new "TAX" because it is named "Carbon Tax" for the environment will help the environment? How is this new tax going to be spent any wiser then over the tax dollars now spent foolishly now? Its all so retarded now a days, IDC anymore because im tired of the shit fed to me on a environmental agenda shaped spoon . Or watch Dodge piss on my leg and say yes the new 700+ hp challenger is good on fuel milage. world of the gullible and sheep i tell you

I would LOVE to say that we definitely know the magnitude of the effect. But we all know how dangerous it can be when people make unfounded claims. We show that this is definitely going to happen and have a considerable impact. For an analogy, we couldn't predict exactly how much damage would be done to a person who walked out in front of a bus moving at 50mph. But we know that there would be a significant amount of damage, and that information should be enough to stop people from walking out in front of busses

Great (and frightening) video. But I'm afraid mild words like 'could' and phrases like 'this suggests that ...' just won't get the message across. Scientists have been issuing warnings for 30+ years and as a result we have some agreements (will Mr Trump keep to them), some solar power and a few wind farms. The only slight chance we have is if the western world changes it's philosophy of life from 'economic growth and rampant consumption is good' to a policy of 'we're sorry, we'll share what we have, accept less and try to live in harmony with nature and all the peoples of this earth'. Are there any wise and strong enough leaders out there who will say what we all need to hear?

I really enjoyed watching your presentation and agree with what you are saying in this video. You are very correct that there is not one quick fix or magical solution, I have learned this from my own experiences from farming on my project is the Spanish desert, I have made lots of mistakes but life is about experiencing "the learning curve" so for me I am enjoying the failures and the small successes. I can see that you are passionate about your work and I wish you all the best in the future. Thanks for sharing.. Roy ;-)

@allon33 What's your point here? Nothing has to be wrong with being goal and money focused, even how evil it may sound into your ears. Terracing a deforested mountainous area has a huge impact on improving water infiltration to the soil and prevents further erosion as well. By this means ground water tables are replenished and in this way nature is facilitated to restore itself by providing suitable conditions for forest regrowth.

For Permculture you will need to plant trees, 20% trees for each paddock of crops, and then wait 20 years for it to work. Oh what a surprise, these fools have ADD and can't wait 20 years, or we can't pay them for 20 years. U r all Losers, for you are money and goal focused dumb dumbs.
