How are you confused about a ghost talking to you after death when by definition a ghost can only exist after the person dies? Aside from some bad pronunciation though, awesome video

It is so hilarious to play it as an altmer, and listen how Pelinal beg your high elf ass to save the world from Umaril. Probably even funnier then argonian Nerevarin.

Fact if you didn't know: After getting the Boots, the Chapel of Mara in Bravil will be attacked by the Auroran's. It'll even be talked about in Rumors and NPC dialogue.

i'm glad to see actual unique commanders that have actual unique gameplay ramifications (instead of plainly presenting commanders that don't see play only because they suck), definitely going to investigate one or two of those

My favourite thing about this deck is that it works well without Runo/Krothus on board, but once he is, and the deck is fully switched on, amazing shit happens. I was losing 1 life to 84, in a 1v1, game defining draw was whelming wave on that last turn, then I sent a devastating hoard of 6/6 serpents in for enough damage that my husband knew he couldn't recover from.

Oblivion: Knights of the Nine Shivering Isles Spell Tomes A bunch of random inherited places Mehrunes Razor Skyrim: Dawnguard (worse Knights of the Nine) Dragonborn (worse Shivering Isles/Solsthiem) Heartfire (worse than a bunch of random inherited) Anniversary (a bunch of random stuff related to Oblivion)

One thing I believe Skyrim is sort of missing on is quests that support you role playing as an Honorable Knight. I played Oblivion years after Skyrim, and was pleasantly suprised about how prevalent the fantasy Knight trope is in play. The Blades, The Knights of the White Stallion, The Knights of the Thorn, and the absolute best of all, The Knights of the Nine. All these Knight factions that help you with immersing yourself as Knight. Not to mention all sorts of NPCs will acknowledge you as "Sir Knight". It's just awesome and the contemporary medieval design of Cyrodiil really brings it home for the role-playing. Don't get me wrong, the all powerful prophesied Dragon Slayer with ancient vikings in a cold, hard, warrior society trope in Skyrim really sings on it's own too, but something about Oblivion and it's more Excalibur influenced themes really pokes you in all the right ways.

Skyrim was my first elder scrolls game I still play it often and is still my favorite (I think everyone's favorite ES game is usually their first) but have had oblivion for awhile. Finally decided to hop in and for whatever reason I was drawn to the knights of the nine questline basically right after I saved Kvatch and it got me really into oblivion. Makes me wish skyrim had a quest line this good lol

Everyone on internet talks about Shivering Isles. No love for Knights of the Nine. Thought I was alone on this. Between there is a 360 game hack slash rpg forgot the name where the main guy uses a armor that look alilke the Crusader set. If anyone read this please leave a comment with the name of the game.

The questline is cool but it all revolves around the knight set and there's no way i can wear it long term because i just do too many crimes while playing normally so i just do the pilgrimage one time, do the questline and let that set in the basement

Yeah that’s the one thing that bugs me too, crimes are just too fun.

Apart from these just being a super smart way to bring Pokemon to a console, XD & Coliseum just feel like the early 2000s. Sometimes that’s a bad thing. Other times it makes it feel both timeless and of its era. And I think these games do that in spades. Also - fantastic job with this video!

To this day Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness is one of the more unique games out there. I always find myself coming back to it because even with all the jank and flaws it and the prequel (Colosseum) have, they still offer stuff that not even the mainline games have touch on since entering the 3D space.

100% agree. It’s not perfect, but damn that risktaking just doesn’t exist in gaming anymore

Oh boy- another lengthy vidya covering Oblivion; hopefully there's more. I however always believed Knights of the Nine was best completed after the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood, due to acquired infamy revoking your ability to use the Knights gear.

9:40 Forcing players to explore is hardly a good idea. When they want to looking around most people just pick a direction and go off to see what's out there, when I'm doing a specific quest I just want to know where something is.
@junglejakes101 Жыл бұрын
Yeah I see what you’re saying. I think the map given is at least helpful enough to find general locations so you’re not running around blind.Fees like a byproduct of the quest design is you end up exploring a large chunk of the map. Thanks for watching!

Is it a trend nowadays of praising shitty things just out of nostalgia? It's never been a good DLC. It's a tedious, repetetive slog. Shivering Isles, for a change, is a proper expansion. Sorry for being harsh, but thats true.
@junglejakes101 Жыл бұрын
Definitey agree Shivering Isles is great, definitely disagree this is shit. I was 6 when this came out, wouldn’t say there’s much nostalgia for me, I genuinely thought it was awesome.
