Fundamentalism is _not_ conservative; in fact it is a modern heresy from the point of view of traditional Catholic and Orthodox religion.

Is Tylor pronounced as in Tyler or as in sailor? I'm a Spanish speaking Anthropologist and i've always wondered if i'm pronouncing it wrong since my colleagues have always pronounced that name the other way. I hope you can give me an answer. thanks so much for your time.

I learned a lot. You made something simple that most of the reviewers make difficult, esoteric, closed and encripted. By the way do you think this very stimulating approach was lost somehow during the rest of the twentieth century? Was the debate around secularism in the 1960s a kind of exytinguisher of any sort of religiosity to be experienced by common people out of the great institutional and bureaucratic apparatus of faith? How you see Ninian Smart or Brian Wilson contributions to this debate?
