By the thickness of the second gear spur gear height. It looks like that isnt a 37tooth but a 41 tooth. Verify the tooth count of the clutch bell gears and the spur gears. I was so glad to hear that thing shift!

Your not shifting into 2nd gear, Look into adjusting the shift point on a N4TEC, It should hit closer to 50mph when engine is properly tuned and your right there with the high speed tuning. There is an aluminum ring behind the 2nd gear (nearest engine) Spur gear. There is one hole to access the adjustment. And that same hole is how you dismantle the shifter. When you put the allen wrench of proper size 2mm in the hole for the adjustment the allen will be on an angle. If the allen wrench is straight up and not on a angle that is the one that removes the shifter. Don't mess with the straight one. Loosen 1/8 of a turn once every tank til you hit a desired shift point You should hear it shift and it doesnt need to rev all the way out to do so. In fact, You have stock gearing. 37MPH is the top of first gears max speed. 2nd gear will top out at 51MPH. Looking forward to the next one. I wanna hear that baby shift!

I run mine around 220 230 degrees. You need to keep tuning until it shifts into second gear. Also, be easy on the steering controls and adjust steering trim. Look into a nitro engine heater to preheat the engine before starting.
@MightyJoesGarage4 ай бұрын
@@americantaxpayer Thanks for the advice! The trim wasn’t bad, the road has a higher center and it moves it everywhere.

Got to pre heat the engine. I had my 4 tec sitting for 7 years. Preheated the engine to 180 degrees, and it fired right up no problems.
