I absolutely love this song, but the thing that always drives me bonkers about Seance is that horrible, obnoxious, and dated drum sound. Gated reverb, applied in extreme excess. From what I understand, they (The Church) are in full agreement with me on this. The songs themselves are wonderful. Especially this one… but they would shine a million times brighter without that awful drum effect. I really wish they’d reissue Seance with a proper remix, and at long last remove that little problem.

the funny thing is, that is what i liked about it, that gated sound defined a time n place in the early 80's with recording methodologies , so i do agree with you totally, but also am torn at the same time too, and I do love this song, thanks for the comment

Great song...cool fractals. Had a funny moment on a road trip back home from Texas. As I was entering Louisiana, I decided to put this song on anticipating the giant "Welcome to Louisiana" (as one would with any other state) but there wasn't one and then the lyric "Next stop is Louisiana no one there with a welcome banner" came up and I started laughing. The Church are probably one of the most underrated bands out there. Love those guys.

its sort of sad, all these artist that who you have followed are no longer with us. some of the best music came from the 60's to the 90's. good music is still made today, the production feels fuller and richer from the music back in the day

Specific [i,j] values for the offsets into the Mandelbrot set would be nice. Just curious because I wrote a basic fractal shader the other month, very limited precision though - can't go anywhere near this deep (but it all runs at fully interactive speeds, which this prolly won't because it goes so much deeper & hence so many more iterations per pixel)

This song sounds like falling asleep, or floating on water. I crocheted a plushy last evening. Managed to finish it in around five or six hours. Crocheting doesn't fix the seasonal depression, but it definitely doesn't make it worse. And it keeps my hands busy!

Finished a crochet scarf yesterday. The pattern took ages to do, but it turned out alright. Pretty happy with the result. Might be going into a depressive episode, but here's to hoping the meds smooth it out. Good music, as usual 👍
