I HAD a vinegar eel culture (paramecium took over it, competed the worms for food and now its a paramecium culture)

Corydoras, Scleromystax, Aspidoras, Osteogaster, Gastrodermus, Brochis and Hoplisoma all belong to the family Corydoradinae. So calling them 'cory' as a common name is still perfectly accepted. All are still cory cat's. Just not all "corys" are Corydoras 😁

Corydoras group had some name changes. Only long nose corydoras are in the Corydoras genus now

@@michaellou7101 yes, the lineage 1 fights are something else. The minimum 6 fish to make corys feel comfortable in the tank doesn’t really work for these guys. Once they are fully grown adults 2-3 fish is better.

Nice! My cw133 are still probably a bit too young so it's good to see where they actually decide to spawn. Looks like a pretty large egg for their size.

I just found some cpd fry at a local lfs in a cpd tank, I scooped the fry with a small net, put them into a cup and showed them to the owner of the shop, both me and him were shocked, we made a little growing set up for the fry, he will update me on their growth

Ah that’s excellent! Once they start spawning they will spawn multiple times a week. If the other set up is not changed you guys might find fry every week or two. Good eyes 👀👍

@@MARKET_GARDNERI their care and breeding is the same. If you have the tank space they are a good option. Though have to be careful labeling containers with fry and eggs. The females especially look alike.

@@MARKET_GARDNERI yes they will cross breed. Which is why good to label. I got I got 5 types of gardneri and nigerianum for in the fishroom. A bit of an effort to keep them all separate but labeling and not having them in adjacent tanks (because they all jump) is all I do.
