So I just discovered the video by The Rolling Stones after hearing Dr. Radecki and well its all about the fact that violence is everywhere and almost inevitable in the medias. Its against violence itself.

I love how the interviewer can't believe he doesn't care how he will be remembered. This question and his answer get to the heart of everything that is wrong about modern American culture and its attempt to keep fame/money/glory attached to a pseudo form of Christianity. When a person physically dies, it is transcendantly obvious that his ego goes with him, but the worshippers of money get their minds blown by this fact and cling to magical thinking in order to justify their existence. It's quite pathetic.

The joke is on those who wanted labels. They got the labels, but then the music industry found out that the albums labeled for explicit lyrics sold the best. This actually encouraged artists to produce more songs with explicit lyrics. I can’t imagine how the people from the eighties would react to W.A.P. or Anaconda, but if they’ve heard it, they should partially blame themselves for it.

I remember Frank. Saw him twice, long ago. At a daylong "festival " in 1974, Atlanta's Fulton County Stadium, Zappa was the featured act. Sitting high up in the stadium, we were playing Trivia between acts, No-one knew the name of Tom Mix's horse. About a half hour later, Zappa and the band were tuning up onstage. Frank stepped to the mic, says "Tom Mix's horse was Tony." We were astounded! Our little game had traveled through the crowd all the way down to Frank, who, of course, knew the answer.

That’s interesting a UFO expert was on. Brazil had lots of incidents with UFOs in the 1980s, that their government worked real hard to hide from the public.

He died 5 years later. I didn't really know much of him. I had known that he was different / eccentric, and did the "Valley Girl" tune, but nothing else. Too bad. If I would have paid him attention, back then....along with others of his ilk...I might have been red pilled earlier.

Wouhaou !! ;oD)

In all my 65 years on this planet, I have never known a more astute individual as Frank. His social commentary on the weird controllers governing our lives has been such a refreshing delight. Many of his 1000 tracks depict the hypocrisy we all feel. But as usual with a messenger - he was misunderstood, and sniped at by those who felt threatened by his truths. I miss him. But his music was his legacy, and many are still carrying his torch. Please support his son Dweezil. He is touring America this year 2025 and is an incredible musician in his own right, but still enthralling audiences with his Dads' compositions. x

Frank Zappa created a chamber piece for the love of music and composition that drove him throughout his life. The fact that the people who have been listening and playing and creating that kind of music literally for CENTURIES really liked it just proves how good of a musician he was because he transcended genres. You're a funny guy 😀 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classical_period_(music)

Sex is an extremely powerful force. Possibly THE most powerful force. Ordering sexual desire, arranging and restricting it within the context of relationships, and placing social restraints on it are all extremely impactful actions, more than I realized at first. When I was a teenager I was all fuck the PMRC like Zappa but the prudes have good points.

First , I believe in a great spirit , not religion ( Buddhists ) .Their own Bible has God breaking his own commandment " Thou shalt not covet thy neighbors wife " and he then knocks Mary up ? He is mad because Abraham wanted to sacrifice his son to God , when God put his own son on a cross for our sins , that will be handed down to your kids ? ( that is called extorsion ) WTF ! It's not confusing , its mental imbalance ?

Maryland is today even more Democrat than it was then. It went 63% for Harris in 2024. Not surprising, since today the Dem Party mainly stands for war, censorship and trashing the Bill of Rights when it gets in the way of punishing their political opposition.

Typical Trump Cult perspective. Skewed ass-backwards. You're about to find out what trashing the Bill of Rights and punishing political opposition, as well as reporting truly looks like. President Musk and his VP, Trump have already started the ball rolling and this is now the biggest "be careful what you wish for" moment in American history as we see our freedoms and our entitlements torn apart by people who don't give a damn fuck about you.
