Yeah I think they'll be fine, if the next comeback is good it will be succesful. Most of the public will listen to a song if it's good even if the group is getting hate. Even after all of the hate Illit has been through and their involvement in the Hybe issue, singing controversies, false allegations of plagarism and all Magnetic is still doing fine because it's a dope song.

Since the group was annouced for Coachella the kpop of spanish speakers told the same sentence: that stage it's gonna be the final nail on LS coffin, and I think they were (not to much) wrong. Not only the bad encores (wich are not a recent thing) and the comments against Sakura for knitting clothes rather than taking siging lessons, also the plagiarism scandals, the starbucks gate, coachella, the virality of the worst moments of Coachella, the statments of the members that follows wich make everything worst, and now the whole hybe situation. I just don't think LS is gonna survive or at least having a new breathe and opportunity for koreans listeners wich are by far, the worst public of all. Maybe I'm wrong and LS next comeback just gonna be the peak of their popularity or maybe this is the chance for the groups who are waiting for this to happen to overcome finally and explode in popularity. Who knows?

Yes I understand where you are coming from BUT they worked extremely hard and as every kpop stan SHOULD KNOW that idols go through so much: fainting all the time, sickness, hater, toxic fans, and much more so what gives you the right to say that they didn't give their all and they should go to vocal lessons. That was a big performance with a lot of pressure and people .Imagine being in that position of all this guilt knowing personally that you could have done better and they don't you to add more guilt even after all the hard work and pain.

tbh I’m not their fan, not a fan of their vocals as a whole, but I went to watch their live performance of Fire in the Belly and thought Chaewon absolutely slayed despite dancing non-stop. Sure she had a crack on her last high note but I was still impressed and I understand vocal cracks happen to even professional singer sometimes, so that wasn’t my concern at all. She did so well overall in that song. I wasn’t surprised Yunjin wasn’t really stable because I never thought of her as a good pop vocalist in the first place. She had her good moments though, and with consistent training, she will definitely improve and make a vocal comeback stability-wise. I didn’t have high expectations for them predebut, so I wasn’t disappointed by anything I’ve seen from them so far.

considering the issues right now involving Hybe, and allegations about them being obsessed with BP and Aespa who both performed already in coachella, you know the direction and possibly due to greed or obsession of taking over both ggs influence globally, their coachella stunt has been received negatively instead of hyping LSF and gain more fans, its the other way around, because to be brutally honest they are not really prepared enough or LSF is really not ready to be live performers without the assistance of backtrack, AT and AR, hybe should have considered that aside from the live audience, the livestream audience is more brutal and just waiting for them to mess up. I just hope that the girls will shutoff soc med for the meantime, its not good for their mental health and hybe should really take the vocal trainings for their idols seriously esp the ggs

You said that you don't understand why k-pop companies don't really train their idol trainees in vocals, and, unfortunately, the answer is pretty obvious, they know that no matter how bad the idols sing, they can fix it in post production and autotune and they can just make the idols lip sync for their whole career, while their fans will swear up and down that they are AMAZING vocalists. The companies DO put emphasis on dance and visuals because those can't be faked (yet). You can rest assured that as soon as the companies figure out how to do that well enough to fool most fans, the trainees won't get proper training in that either, and will only continue with their PR and selfie lessons...

ITZY is doing great. The album is exactly like ITZY. The performance, the songs everything screams ITZY. And this is where I drop the bomb : Its not ITZY or JYP fault that they're becoming less popular. Its the FANS! They LOST interest because they switched to the trend that's becoming popular. EVERYONE WANTS TO BE ON THE WINNING SIDE! These FANS betrayed ITZY because they saw less views, they thought "why bother" and left ITZY. Its not the groups fault if they're doing what they want to. Its the fans who lost interest. Because a lot people think KPOP GROUPS needs to chase trends and change their sound to whats popular in the charts. If that happens, what makes the group unique?. ITZY is being themselves and the real fans who don't just look at views, etc knows that their album BORN TO BE was 🔥🔥🔥

I didn't watch RUNEXT but I do know from just clips that there are some girls in the group that deserved that spot more than others. I don't understand why survival shows are made for our entertainment when the audience doesn't get a say in ANYTHING! It's like Dream Academy all over again. They literally showed the votes at the end and the girls who were voted the highest didn't make it! Some of them literally had more votes than others but because of the judge's decisions, they made the group instead. I'm not saying that these individuals aren't talented at all, you know, I'm sure that with idol life and continuing as a group they will definitely improve- but the point is that these groups are being debuted at a rapid pace with idols who aren't READY to debut yet! They shouldn't have debuted now!!! Way too quick of a debut. Also, one of the members left. I tried really hard to find the reason why she left and I still can't put my finger on it other than something happened behind the scenes that we will never know about and she was forced to exit and the official statement saves their asses by claiming it was a "mutual agreement". Apparently they were involved in the drama that went down with the Riize member and TxT, idk, just speculation. It's so dumb. I've been a kpop fan since I was in elementary (I'm a college student now) and the quality of talent within groups has , without a doubt, disappointed me time and time again. That's why I was so surprised when NewJeans debuted! I hated the fact that ALL OF THEM WERE MINORS at the time of debut, but they were equally talented and brought something to the group. I swear, this group came to be because of their visuals. Their music is good because Hybe's producers and lyricists are next level. And I stand by that statement. I am open to getting attacked (I am not afraid of kpop stans.)

Well done. To me the worst part is the trainee debt, the 7 year exclusive contracts, the weekly weigh-ins, the complete powerlessness to the unaccountable CEO. In America, we call it 'indentured servitude' and was (technically) banned by the 14th Amendment. The sad irony is that Asian indentures (mostly Chinese and Indian) were ensl_ved to build our cross country railroads in horrible conditions. Kpop is changing, slowly but for the better. I try to follow the groups that are independent of, escaping from, or somehow transcending the system. One thing about Eunchae. She's held up as the poster girl for minors in Kpop, but she's in such a great situation it kind of cheapens the argument. If every minor was in a group under a relatively progressive company, with a good contract, with members who are older, have been through the grinder, or are American, or not from Kpop, it wouldn't be so much of a problem. Keep up the good work. With scrutiny comes change.

The real problem with Le Sserafim is that they can't sing, so they have to make other kind of waves. Most of them are quite conventional in K-pop; the church one is more interesting. Of course, the MV was obviously NOT made in a church but in a studio; still, references are undeniable (you missed some, e.g. at least two to Pieta) but just as undeniable is the fact that producers know (or at least hope) that Catholics are not really dangerous ATM. I am looking forward to the next Le Sserafim MV, though, which will undoubtedly take place in a mosque.

Sakura has never had good vocals but she has been an idol both in Japan and Korea for YEARS and was made to be a celebrity. Kazuha's talents lie in dance and she is very good at it. Not EVERY member will have top tier vocals...there are the main vocalists, main dancers, visuals, etc...these positions exist for a reason....so that each member's talents can be showcased in their own special way..GET WITH IT. what a silly comment hehe
