Doctor rolled his eyes at me that my baby won’t eat the powder.. it’s the Alimentum. That scumbag rolled his eyes and it’s not even the exact same formula.

I've tired all that and different methods with powder formulas my baby will vomit. Only formula she can handle is the liquid ready to use simalic. My doctor looked at me stupid until I literally showed pictures and then at the appointment showed what she does. He was shocked. He told me they have same ingredients. I've did the gas drops the fridge over night nope will not work. Now at 5 months she hates oatmeal or the rice texture if it's ready in the baby food she does find.

As of 10/10/24 I can't find Kendamil OR Loulouka. I heard that Loulouka has been discontinued because the manufacturers were tampering with the quality. Kendamil UK and US have different formulas.

Are we boiling the water for the safety of the water or to kill bacteria in powder formula? I’ve read about some people using purified water or distilled water, but does this kill bacteria in powder formula ?

Type 1 diabetic here, do you have a video or list of partially hydrolyzed formulas? We’ve been switching a lot due to very uncomfortable and smelly gas that’s constant and trying to find one that’s partially hydrolyzed and helps with gas. We were given the enspire gentlease and regular gentlease to try but the regular one seems to make his gas more painful but enspire is so hard to find!

I’ve spent a ridiculous amount of money trying to find a formula that suits my 1 month old. It literally was not until today that I realized all the formulas she has ever had issues with seems to be any kind of powdered formula. So far the only thing I have found that works is nutramigen hypoallergenic ready made bottles. The nutramigen powder version upsets her tummy too much 😔

really appreciate your channel. my 3 week old who initially took to the formula fine, has really struggled as the feed amounts increased. Lots of unsettled crying, back arching type stuff, it hurts to watch, and its clearly not just a newborn growing into his tummy! I have been diagnosed with SIBO, and my partner is lactose intolerant, and given the problem has increased with the amount of milk, it seems bacterial or lactose related for the LO also. Like you identify, there is a lot of confusing buzzwords and confusing information about formula, and finding this level of detailed information you have on your channel is nigh on impossible in the open sources. Its weeks/months wait on a paediatrician too which leaves you in a tough spot as a first time parent. thanks for all your content and technical breakdowns. it really gave me the confidence i needed to begin a switch with a product i felt was the right move.

I want to switch from enfamil gentle ease to similac isomil because I think my baby is allergic to the milk developing eczema … which formula would be best I started breastfeeding but stopped due to the pain what would you recommend

How do I know if a formula "worked" for my baby, just curious? Our exclusively formula-fed 4-month old had the tan-colored seedy poops on Similac Total Care 360 (the regular one in the blue can) for first 3 months of life, and then rapidly went to daily runny brown diarrhea for a few weeks. We witched to Similac Alimentum and the consistency is thicker, and now also green in color. Is this okay as our final product for poop or should we be trying to get back to the seedy yellow again? Is color or consistency or something else the acid test that a formula works for baby?
